These showcases that NI does always leave a lot to be desired…an artist making the same sounding tech beat over n over… It’s crazy because the Maschine is capable of some really incredible things. You would think their marketing team would know this and do a video w/someone like “Fred Again” shredding on it.. The way he uses it is so sick and unique, you can’t help but want to run out n buy one immediately lol… That’s just me though…

+ is Mk3 with a laptop sitting under the desk. Actually, you have more power for your instruments with the Mk3 setup. I can see how the + might be fun for on the road idea sketching but for producing and performing - no thanks.
@Alvaro_GG33 жыл бұрын
@@pierrebroccoli.9396 I dont understand what you said about that mk3 is more powerful than mk3+. Can you tell me a little more? im thinking of buying mk3 or mk3 +
@pierrebroccoli.93963 жыл бұрын
@@Alvaro_GG3 The Mk3+ is a self contained unit based on a ARM quadcore CPU. As such, it is limited in standalone mode as to what can be run on it and also processing capabilities. Great as a sketch pad but not for all in one production / performance system and not compatible with many established VST instruments which run on Win x64 or Mac OS-X. Mk3 is not useful as a standalone but needs ones computer and can be happily run on a decent laptop for most needs. Keep the laptop in Performance Power mode and tell it to not shutdown or sleep when the lid is closed and you have a fairly discrete setup with full VST compatibility but with the need of a laptop to carry with the unit and a bit more cumbersome to use on the move unlike the Mk3+ Also paying near double for the Mk3+ over the Mk3 for the privilege of having a sketch pad on the go. Horses for courses.

@@pierrebroccoli.9396 But if you run MK3+ on a computer you won't have that problem right?
@pierrebroccoli.93963 жыл бұрын
@@Alvaro_GG3 I am not sure of the connectivity of the Mk3+ with a computer compared to the standard Mk3. Shouldn't be a problem but then defeats the standalone purpose and for double the price. Still - it gives people options but I would scour Native Instruments documentation on the capabilities before throwing such cash at it. Especially as I am a Complete Ultimate user.

@nomad15172 жыл бұрын
@@NativeInstruments so, does that mean that with the push, you still have to look at the laptop? It seems playing with a DAW live can ruin the creative experience because of the constant fiddling and perfection. What are your views on this? Since you guys specialize in a more human way of music production. I was really thinking about this philosophy, it seems it allows you to be more of an artist than a programmer. Would you agree?

@@User37717 He is right. A very weak producer. An elementary thing is the rational use of the resources of Maschine+! Power is limited in Maschine+. It needs to be saved! The producer doesn't show it. Why load a separate filter if there is one in the Sampler? It has already been loaded and is using the resource. Instead of loading a separate filter, you can use the one in the Sampler. We go to the second tab and twist it there. This is just one nuance! The very creation of the track in this video, as a beginner taking the first steps. Lack of confidence in hands and actions. The delays show that she is lost and thinks for a long time. Little skill. Many producers who use Maschine+ for stand-alone are not happy that there is still no way to configure Program Changes and switch presets on external synthesizers. I partially solved this problem and donated two presets for controlling the Program change. They can be downloaded under this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6i1qnp6h55jpbs But this is not a panacea! It is necessary to add this feature, as they have in the Maschine 2 software. And to establish the work of CC messages with external devices in the stand. Akai steps on NI heels with the latest stitches. And the above examples for Akai have been working perfectly for a long time.
