At 2:35 the reason you got hit instead of the other guy was because hero hunter ALSO got an update earlier before blade master got finished. It was the prey’s peril move.

To make sure people understand preys peril was already in but it can counter projectiles. The strongest hero’s shove and Brutal Demon’s home run can do this too

to help understand, hero hunter / garou had gotten an update, sketch hadn’t noticed it. the new update was a new addition / variant to Prey’s peril. what it did was that it can deflect projectiles, you were using Sonic / deadly ninja which has a projectile called “explosive shuriken” since it was a projectile, it could be deflected using prey’s peril. Along with metal bats foul ball, which is in his base move, if you miss foul ball, you can launch a projectile at your opponent, if your opponent is a hero hunter, they can use prey’s peril against the projectile, along with trashcans which are interactable. along with Genos / Destructive Cyborg’s Blitz shot is also reflectable, after that, a new update had arrived, The strongest hero’s shove could do the same thing, deflect things, in the same update, metal bat’s first move was able to also deflect projectiles if timed right.

7:10 the counter need to be use in a good time, like all others counter That mean u need to know which attack the opponent have and if u can counter it or not, then know approximately every play style u can encounter on players and when they will probably use their move and how are they gonna use it, miss it or even smth else U also need to know the distance of their move When u know it’s the perfect moment, u just has to use it But anyways yeah I agree it’s hard for new player to make a counter work, but after a long time of play, it’s easy Prediction baby 😎
