Hey, in some videos you move the paper (like here) in others you have the same view on the paper you are sketching on. is there any reason to this? because i tend to move my paper a lot, i find it super hard drawing lines going from left to right for example, so i always tilt my paper so i can just make a line downwards.
@productdesignermaker
@productdesignermaker 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, I’m only keeping the paper still when I’m trying to show the viewer what I’m doing. I find it much preferable to turn the paper all the time

Hello. I would like to ask an experienced product designer like you the following questions: i) how did you become a product designer? ii) can an aspiring character designer like me find joy in a place like industrial design? ( I ask because its a career that involves drawing and pays well) iii) do you as a product designer have time to have other pursuits nowadays, because that's what i look for in a career as of now. Sorry for the obnoxious questions...
@productdesignermaker
@productdesignermaker 4 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Can I refer you to this? kzbin.info/aero/PLUmGIca4HGqYginGXASEwIIyLuYh_fN4a It could give you an insight (there are lots of people answering your questions here). I'm mostly teaching product design, and KZbin occupies my free time, along with a load of extreme sports (you'll see a bit of that in the video). It's difficult to say if it's the career for you, without knowing you. I'd recommend getting some work experience in a firm of designers. You'll soon know if it doesn't suit you. I hope this helps.
