When you believe perspective is the most difficult thing, and a simple clear and well done tutorial destroys that belief and gives you hope!

Just started to study product design and just searched for good tutorials to improve my sketching skills. Your Videos are simply awesome! Very professional and clear, also detailed enough but still not too long - everything just right. Love it!

This was what I needed. All the other tutorials I've found try to explain this concept on complex objects like faces, characters. It became challenging trying to apply what they were showing on simple forms. Thanks!!!!

Loved all five of the basics/quick tips you've done so far, Reid. Is there a reason why you use markers instead of pencils?
@ReidSchlegel7 жыл бұрын
Airship Hi, if you mean for underlay sketching it is because marker blends into the background and basically eras s itself where pencils are oil based and a line never goes away
@airshipnotebooks7 жыл бұрын
Reid Schlegel Ah, that makes sense. Great videos, Reid. You do a good job explaining those concepts.

Hi, I want to do designing as a career mainly product design which is similar, I'm currently one year away from uni but my subjects choices doesn't meet the requirements for what the university want, I'm currently doing Product design, fine art and applied science however the uni I want to go to requires maths or physics which I don't do, I just wanted to ask if you really needed to do maths or physics in order to get a placement for doing product/ industrial Design?
@ReidSchlegel7 жыл бұрын
Lesd3 Guzman Hi, yes they both apply especially if you go down a more engineering heavy route. There are plenty of universities globally that teach industrial design. Make sure you are applying to the correct course

Car designers... Take this with a grain of salt. Having a thick line all the way around your design will end up flattening it when you're talking about a shape as complex as a car.
