Hi! No plugins were used to do this, it was all native SketchUp tools that comes with SketchUp :)

can this technique work by using multiple geo location images? I have a couple of images making it the entire image I want, I did everything shown in the video but then sketch up stops responding, when I try to intersect faces

Thanks! What scaling issue are you having? Geo-locate should bring it in to scale already.

John, my geo-location is brought in from Digital Globe and the resolution is terrible. I have Google Earth Pro. Is there a way to change what source you get your geo-locations from?

I suppose geo-location is subject to whatever Trimble has access to. Placemaker (SU Extension) brings in high-res imagery but I have not tried it yet for site models. Wish I could help, but above my pay grade :)
