SketchUp needs a command like AutoCAD's "Align" It is a very convenient & fast tool. And of course, a dedicated "Copy" command. I understand the masochistic need to use two keys for one often repeated operation.

I have (in fact, I have made a video of two about creating them). If you search KZbin there are quite a few videos on creating an exploded view… I think that there are even an extension or two out there that will do this for you!
