Wow. The final six turned it ON! Jeez, these kids rip. Gut-Behrami's my pick for overall title--she's so solid in the speed events, and if she gets in a GS groove her slalom weakness should not figure. (She was way down the slalom ranking in 2016 when she took the big globe.) Hrovat's really good, definitely one to watch along with Robinson, who'll become a star if she adds DH or slalom. And Bassino's in a GS wonderland like Goggia's DH. Gisin right there too--consistently just a fraction off. This isn't Brignone's or Shiffrin's year, in my armchair opinion. Hard to sustain last season's cup-winning brilliance; 2020 was horrible for Mikaela, and I imagine she's still recovering. Everyone's chances, of course, depend upon remaining healthy. Some wild crashes so far this season. Best wishes to Nicole Schmidhoffer and her poor knee. How these folks come back from such injuries and compete again...
