You need a pair of snowshoes Girl! :) A good pair of birch vintage ones with traditional bindings! Green Mountain Bear Paws would be great for walking in the woods and collecting firewood in winter. And they would work with your mukluks and keep your feet warm.

Love this, Brooke. Those shots of Maysie dog just sitting studying into the woods are always great. What a little jabber jaws she is. So wish we knew exactly what she was saying other than, ‘Hurry up, let’s get going!’ You used some great angles in this, per usual. The one of you and Maysie as you skied off must have required a lot of work because then you had to come back for the camera and tripod. The more I watch these the greater my appreciation grows for all the hours of set up, filming and then having to edit and get it on its way so everyone can view it. Plus a bizillion other things that must go into it. All that to say once again, thanks. Pat the Maysie girl. Blessings.

Only way I can think of to beat this would be to sip a bit of bourbon with the apple crisp, but maybe that's just me. Great video, it certainly helped me to stay sane while I'm slogging along on a ten hour work day chained to a desk. I will get outside and get happy in just a bit under an hour when I ride my bike through the heavily wooded park between here and my house, I always stop in the trees and pretend I'm somewhere much farther away from civilization for a bit. Hey GITW, An excellent video. It shows that just by getting out there and enjoying yourself, you end up using some of your survival skills. What's important about that is that if it hits the fan while out there you be calm because you know what to do. That's kind of a page from Lonnie and Connie's book also, i.e. the secret to enjoying the outdoors is staying calm and using your noodle. Looking forward to more of your videos.
