Japan is the only other country that I would ever live in! I was blessed to be able to live there, while serving for the United States Marine Corps! And it has been my dream to go back for 30 years! I am so happy to see that others got to experience Japan! It is an amazing place, with amazing culture!! I would love to retire there one day!!

Yamaha Made Snowmobiles in Japan before the Sunami wipe out their Snowmobile Factory. It's amazing to realize that Yamaha was #1 in Snowmobile sales in the World in the Early 1980's They did most of their R&D in North America. I think 1968 was the first year for Yamaha Sales in the USA. I have one Polaris, one Yamaha and one Skidoo Snowmobile.

The problem is, who owns the land you're riding on? Can anyone just go out there and ride around? I ride here in Canada, mostly Quebec & Ontario. I know there are some places that are crown land but majority of snowmobiling is done on trails across private land. Every year we lose trails and there is less and less areas available to sled. We need the manufacturers, like Ski-doo to partner with OFSC & FCMQ pushing for and helping fund new trails being created.
