I don't think I could trade my CFR1000 noise for fourstrokes... I just hate the sound and extra weight. They look cool as hell and ya gotta love the reliability but they aren't as violent and audibly awesome. Good quality vid!

I still love 2 strokes I just love the power and reliability of the 4 strokes but for sure I get your point , cheers !

I have a Ski doo 600 SDI XP and love it, I drag race my buddies 800s and hangs with them every time. But it's time to upgrade and this sled is topping my list .

Right on the 600 SDI's are great! Your looking at a 900 Ace Turbo??

Do you ever have any cold start issues with the Cat? Otherwise That sure is a great engine in the Cat. I have a bunch of sleds, but in my Pantera 7000xt limited that engine does fantastic. Not a speed Demon, but its pretty damn capable even in the backcountry of Montana in relatively deep snow riding 2Up.

Mine is fine unless it's like -40 . Otherwise it starts great especially after the update from the dealer . Yes your right great motor , mine is clutched and it pulls hard, not a top end sled but great for trails . Thanks for watching, cheers !

@@MoreToysMoreNoise I need to call about the dealer update. Mine will crank/fire/die repeatedly when it's below 10deg. Until it kills the battery

@@gumballer133 Yes I would it made a big difference!

@@gumballer133 if your sled is stalling, that is a different issue. Stalling and back firing can be two key things - tight exhaust valves or the TPS. The suzuki engine was prone to this - not sure about the yamaha genesis 4 stroke. I have a TZ1 1100 with the suzuki engine and I had the valves adjusted and the TPS swapped out and it fixed my stalling and backfiring problem. It happened most on decel.
@gumballer1332 жыл бұрын
@Tim Rivard Ohh wow. No stalling on mine. Just terrible to start on cold mornings. It actually has a block heater, so I plug it in when I can. The heater keeps the engine at 120deg even when its 0 outside. Glad to see you got yours figured out!

What happened the first three tries? The skidoo was way behind . Love that Yamaha engine.
@MoreToysMoreNoise3 жыл бұрын
Guess it was a couple bad runs for him , the 4th was good and more accurate for a sled that has 15 more hp than mine

@@MoreToysMoreNoise I guess that is what I was wondering. I would really like to try one of those 900T. I wonder if they feel heavy.
@MoreToysMoreNoise3 жыл бұрын
@@MBTUE He says it does feel heavier in some situations than his 800 Skidoo but he loves the power and torque .

People under estimate the 7000 since it came out. It’s very strong for its HP “rating”.

Yes it's got loads of torque and low to mid range power

WTF I was at a 700 Arctic cat smoked a 900 ski Doo was it a fourth stroke? In 2017 that was the Older Suzuki motor I'm thinking.

2016 and up the ZR 7000 is running the yamaha 1049cc mill and yes the Ski Doo was a four stroke as well , 900 ace turbo!

@@MoreToysMoreNoise OK well that makes more sense I didn't know that they are the cat was a four stroke there's a big difference between a two stroke and a four stroke you should've cleared that up
