I’ve always been fascinated by you Americans, all those ‘layers’ and ‘systems’. 100% wool and you don’t get cold when sweating. In winter always wear wool next to skin- never bear skin under shell!

Hey Andrew why do you not wear a helmet? Is there a reason other than weight? As I am heading into my first full season of ski mountaineering and ski touring I feel much safer with a helmet and was wondering if you could provide insight.

over. traps warmth and provides protection from elements. Your puffy is unlikely to be durable enough to shed heavy snow

You think he had a view of the mountains from his jail cell? He might not be able to travel internationally to ski with his felony record.

He was fined, did not go to jail (the sentence was in abeyance for 12 months and he abode by the terms set by the court), and has no felony record since the theft was classed as a misdemeanour. I very much doubt that this will prevent any form of international travel.

So he just showed he is a major self entitled douchebag. It is nice to know. I thought if I was ever climbing, or skiing, that I would have enjoyed meeting him. Not anymore, I think I would give him total shit about his actions and see where it goes from there.
