Ski Patrol--A Day in the Life- Powder Mountain

Powder Mountain is one of the greatest places in America. Luckily it’s still mom and pop, But how rare is it to get to drive up to the summit (Of one part of the mountain)and ski down… And I was made a day mission of mine to take pictures when I’m sharing the left with a ski patrol which is more often than you think because I’m not your average Snowboarder

My small hill has 1600 regularly friday and some Saturday nights and we have 51 acres and we have 7 lifts I can’t imagine how nice that must be

Yes, with over 8400 acres of skiable terrain we are very fortunate. Be sure to watch day 2 where I'll show some of the other cool things about Powder Mountain.

How long would you say the hike would take to get up lightning ridge? Is it just a flat or a mini hike?

It is a hike on a cat track but the first half is a good climb. The time it takes depends on your fitness level, acclamation to the elevation and if you're carrying your skis/board or have skins. I would plan about 30 min.
