My favourite ski resort is Mayrhofen in Österreich that I’ve talked to you about before. Back in 2018, I was at a ski resort in Chamonix, just north of Tignes. It was horrible… I think the one in Österreich is much better.

When I was 21 learning to ski I would have said 'there is nothing to be scared of' but it is defiantly harder as you get older. However the beautiful, magical views are so worth it!

I have also done skiing but not in a long time now. Have been to Austria a few times lovely there or at least it used to be and to Italy. I got lost once in Austria I ended up talking the wrong slope down so ended up in the wrong town and had to walk the whole way back my town and everyone else was out searching for me lol. I had blisters on my feet that day from walking in the ski boots. Thankfully and had known which way to go as I had it all memorised from our journey to the town on the first day so was very lucky. Another time I neatly died. It was my first time skiing actually and it was the last day I got bored and decided stupidly to go ahead of everyone else on the red slope and ended up hanging from a young tree over a 40 foot over drop. Only for that tree I was potentially dead or worse paralysed. I ended up bringing that tree home but unfortunatly it did not survive that long. I should have replanted it somewhere. It is good crack. Always something happened when we went skiing. Another time two of my uncles accidently ended up on the wrong slope and the only way the got down it was on there arse's lol. One of them has since passed from cancer 😞. The other still skies. Must 20 years since I have been on a slope now. Also am pretty sure we did not wear helmets crazy as that is.
