I was told that this song is about a guy that had a woman that died from cancer and he pretty much gave up on life . Lost his job and quit life and became homeless . Then towards the end realized she wouldn't want him to go on like that so he threw her pictures in the fire and wanted to remember her in his memory and get back on his feet

I think the song appealed to your inner guitariist and distracted you from figuring out the story. If so, who could blame you? The solo was incredibly fluent, clever, and snakey. Skid Row seems to fit into that group of bands like Journey who were hair rock back in the day. The singer's soaring, tuneful voice along with those classic guitars and Marshall amps say 1988 or 90. Anyhow, a passionately powerful song, maybe about a girl he doesn't at all want to remember. And the video is well made, switching between studio and the streets where he and she hung out.

Yeah listen to wasted Time by skid row. They toured with guns and roses for a year and the lead singer got close with the drummer from guns n' roses. Well he couldn't stop using heroin so guns and roses had to kick him out of the band after 4 years and so this is what this song is about it's about him the old drummer for guns and roses

Learn the guitar and watch Marty Schwartz I started playing when I was 29 now I play in a band. It's not as hard as it looks but it can definitely becomes difficult the more advance you become. But if you learn 5 cords you can rock the campfire. $90 for a payable guitar now days.
