I think what happened was a little bit jealousy and also the changing music scene. Sebastian Bach is a quintessential rocker. I think Snake and Scotti and Rachel wanted to wanted to move in a different direction musically as was evidenced by their next couple of albums. I think they assumed the fans would follow them. I think they cut off their nose to spite their face and rather than admit that they were wrong, they try to make it sound like they just couldn't deal with Sebastian.

This is a great interview! Snake and Sebastian looked tired and jetlagged (or something else lol) out of their minds here, but they still nailed it. My favorite part was when Sebastian almost swore and then they showed the "Don't swear, please" sign! Thanks for uploading this, I really enjoyed it! :)

Sebastian was just living it up in the spotlight like all the other Rockstar's. He WAS Skid Row. I think the other band members got a little jealous of the attention that he received and Sebastian was very straight forward. He wasn't afraid to speak and he had a personality compared to the others. So what? he may have been a little immature but wtf? All heavy metal band members in the 80s were crazy af. and immature in some form or another! it was jealousy. Firing him was a dumb move. He had an amazing voice and millions more records could have been sold. Pisses me off that these guys in the 80s made it BIG after such a difficult struggle and then threw it all away because of jealousy and big egos. Sebastian still kicked ass and is STILL kicking ass after all these years and look at the other members!? Where are they now? That's what they get! Keep on Rockin Sebastian!! You will always be loved, respected and will always be Skid Row. Love from NM since 18 and Life! and still a hardcore fan!!

Sebastian is such an amazing vocalist. His bigger than life personality is what makes him such an amazing frontman in my opinion. The band made the worst decision to let him go. I know skid row still.plays but I quit following them when Bas left.

Rob affuso was the only one that seemed to get along with him, the calmest dude in the band so i think you’re right just jealousy rachel bolan still fucking whines and hates on him to this day! ...🤘mate I agree with you 100%...and now that Skid Rows 3rd or 4th singer??? had to leave the band...now is the best tiime for the guys to catch up with Baz..talk it out..and get Skid Row kicking ass like they use to..no offence to Lizzy Hale..Im interested to see how she will fit in and how the songs will sound..but after those dates..I pray that Snake and the other guys grow the fuck up ..Sebastian is just waiting for the green light..and so are millions of fans world wide...

In relation to the commercial part, yes, that is, with a better way of projecting the bands, yes, but the underground scenes from which this and other aspects of good old rock emerged never disappeared from the USA. I even consider that there was a lack of some more thinking and capable minds within the rock environment itself to create a major record label that could be independent enough to support the current bands and the new bands that could emerge.
