Skid Row was the soundtrack to some of the best and worst years of my life, I was a lucky enough to see them live twice. Once opening for Aerosmith in Oakland, then a few years later headlining in Sacramento. I've always thought Skid Row song were impossible for anyone to sing other than Bach, and was happy to just let Skid Row be a great memory. I've heard dozens of bands and singers try to perform Skid Row songs, and I never liked a single one. Then I hear Lizzy singing these songs, and Damn if there was anyone that could replace Sebastian, it's her. Thank you for taking me back to High School.

Anyone that questions Lzzy’s range has not seen her live. She has an insane amount of range. The fact that she is touring with multiple bands at the same time belting out songs like this over and over just about every day says that there will be nights with limited range but if you judge a badly recorded live video on KZbin I beseech you to see her live before tearing her down. She has easily the same range as Sebastian and I am a huge fan of his. Just sayin’

I don't understand the 'range' criticism thing at all. She can absolutely belt it out. Going through her catalog, there is almost blues-y sounding Ella Fitzgerald levels of vocal depth and power on some songs, there's metal goddess on others, raging punk screams on others still.

Good rule of thumb: don't try to cover a Sebastian Bach tune from when he was young. You may kill it and still pale in comparison. Lzzy sounds far better than Sebastian now. But, she's not close to him in his prime. Still a solid cover and a fantastic song.
