Thanks for posting this Blair!! I had the good fortune to be a snowboarder in the early 2000s with a bunch of skier friends who knew Mammoth really well and would take me on tree run after tree run. Such amazing memories. I was supposed to head up with a friend Monday, so this was the perfect POV gift. Maybe I'll watch it again next week and just dream that I'm there... Stay safe and keep that rad grandma of yours safe.

I had just arrived in Mammoth a few hours before they announced the closure. I was actually sitting in a hot spring when somebody walked up and broke the news to eveybody. I had a 4 day trip planned and there were several feet of snow coming in. I was so heartbroken that I got back in my truck and drove back to San Diego the same day I drove up. It was a long day.

Great footage and skills. Loved the giant pillows at around 4:30. Increasingly people are leaving background music out of their sports vids...really no need for it. Would rather just hear your pure stoke and the sound of slicing through that gorgeous snow.

Knowing that hitting a tree at 45+ mph in a CAR accident is a high likelihood of death, it makes me REALLY nervous watching you guys go through all those trees. I know you are super pros but it STILL makes me super nervous.
@SkidKids4 жыл бұрын
I appreciate your concerns. Me and all my friends wear helmets. Realistically I was probably going about 10mph through the trees

@@SkidKids It looks so much faster on video, lol. I'm not a skier so I really don't know but it just made me nervous for you! I knew someone as a teenager who attempted suicide by hitting a tree in a car. Fortunately they survived but I always think about how dangerous trees are when hit.
