Skidmore is a town I grew up at ! The school is known as Skidmore-Tynan ISD home of the fighting “BOBCATS“ where I graduated in 1987 !!!

Beeville used to have a Naval Air Station at one time.We had a hunting lease at Papalote just south of Skidmore when I was a kid.

December 7. “A Date Which Will Live in Infamy “. A moment of silence for all those that lost their lives. When we lived in Key West back in the 50’s dad, 34 at thee time, flew Navy’s F4D “Skyray”. It had a “delta” wing like a dart. No tail wings like the one in the town you showed. Those small towns are very interesting. Nice video.

Yay we finally got ice cream!! 🍦😀 Beeville is a lovely little town, and I'm glad to see the downtown thriving. That would've really been cool to visit that lie-berry. 📚 Hopefully next time. I'll pass up Skidmore Tires and look for one in another town called Gripmore Tires.

I played High School sports for Pettus High School. We were in the same district as Skidmore-Tynan. They were easy, one of the teams we could easily dominate. Unfortunately the district also included Poth and Falls City, different story there. Those big 'ol corn fed polacks crushed us on a regular basis. I'll never forget when I was in 8th grade we beat Falls City 8th grade team on Thursday. This made us think maybe our High School varsity team could beat Falls City on Friday night. Final score: Falls City 88 Pettus 0. Ouchie.
