Skidway Lake MI video tour 12-2-12. From your Mills Township Trustee April Harkey-Mason

Welcome to Skidway Lake MI a very nice little country town a great place to live and vacation. We have the Rifle river to enjoy several beaches , parks and local campgrounds. Head North on I-75 exit on the 202 exit turn right go about 3 miles and turn right on Greenwood road you will run right into us. Come visit. I hope you enjoy the tour even though this was done 12-2-12 there is no snow. We have a 1/4 mile long boardwalk along our lake to fish from or just walk on and enjoy the lake.

Great video! My family had a place on Chippewa Trail close to the river when I was a kid. We are coming up from the Ann Arbor area next week and will definitely make a pass through the town and my family's old property. Lots of childhood memories there!

Thank you so much for these videos, especially the tour through Skidway. I lived up there from 1989-1991, and I've missed it terribly ever since. I would have stayed, but my dad in TN was having heart problems and the family needed me home. I worked at Driftwood while I was there, and served many drinks to the Eyemers. I lived for Kay's pocket pizzas at Little Daniel's. I felt so welcome in Skidway. D & N Garage was my favorite hangout. Very sad about Nelson Smith. Please, if you can, post more videos! This was a great journey for me.

Oh my gosh I'm from Tennessee and moved to skidway lake at the same time you were there. I played in a band called The outpatients at Driftwood lounge many times. I was dating a waitress there by the name of Joyce Horn. There is no way we didn't meet. My name is Jerry. I'm back in Tennessee now just north of nashville.

Sorry Mr Psilo Deuce that you found the worst of the area and got caught in it. We are doing the best we can to clean out the problem people and the drug users. Every town has them and the fight is not over. To bad you moved away when you got sober you could have helped us. ·
