Really recommend larkspur bowl and rose bowl too. Both have great blue terrain but also some challenging bump runs to hit. Great video.

The bus from the Bear lot where you parked goes all the way up to the village. Yes, you are correct that heading out from the main village lifts saves a bunch of traveling time across the mountain

Planning to go there or Vail in 2028 or 29 season, haven't decided which as yet, but owing to the sheer expense of going there for a 10 day stay from here in England, if I actually do go it'd be a one and done.

As a local whos family's been in this area for 4 generations, I can confirm that grouse mountain gets very little traffic. Unless its a powder day.
