I booked my skiing holidays there but still need to buy ski pass and rent snowboard gear :) could you recommend the are of ARE that s more suitable for beginners? I have the basics of snowboard but need to practice much more to feel confident on the board and I do not think that narrow and steep places would be good for me :) thanks in advance for your response :)

Yes, i think ”Rödkullen” and ”Åre Björnen” could be suitable areas for you! I recommend you to download the Skistar app on smartphones where you can find maps and even buy and book skipass and rent your gear before you arrive! :)

very nice you were lucky, how long did you stay? and in which village?

In this trip i stayed in a village outside Åre called Huså (which you can see in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/noCUeXWKh6yLY6M ) and we stayed for a whole week! But earlier trips i have stayed in the central parts of Åre (Åre By) which i can mostly recommend if you want to experience More than just skiing!
