Very possible in many places, many spots people don't talk about as to not share it, but white ice/black ice is more a killer in steep terrain there, we don't see enough press on this issue but avy is covered heavily in local circles.

On the bucket list! What cameras are you shooting with for this?

I shot with two camcorders, gopro, even some phone footage. DSLR auto focus has been poor and slow, not good for hostile conditions where seconds matter. The GoPro's auto iris performed the best in flat ugly light.

@@TreasuredHeights We just got the Z6 - impressed with its autofocus though usually pull focus manually. Though on a trip like this - I could see having things set to auto since things are so fluid. Looking forward to completing your series.
