Thanks for posting. Visited CB 20 years ago. Remember those exact runs. Fantastic memories. So cool.

I grew up in CB and haven't been to the top of CB mountain but have been to the top of most all of the other mountains in the area.

Great video! We ended up taking a wrong turn and ended up on headwall. We should have taken your route next to the high lift. Incredible experience all in all!

Thinking about skiing the peak, last time hit head wall but relatively new to double black skiing, it looked like a hard hike. The face of the peak didn’t look too difficult and pretty open? How would you rate it compared to headwall ?

It's very doable! The hike is pretty long / strenuous, but the ride down from the top was not too extreme. No danger of falling into rocks, at least. The views from the top alone make it worth it.

Nice vid. Thinking abt coming early april to crested butte from the front range like breck and vail, despite the 3 hour drive. Will it be worth it for the mtn? We love expert terrain

Absolutely. Went back this week to explore more. Headwall and the Phoenix Bowl were great

This is awsome, and a little sketchy

So you skied almost from the top.

It is always a good idea to ski the top alone, that way when you get hurt the wolves can eat you without anyone watching.

Seems like every vid I see like this they’re alone 😭 I don’t get it
