The Tort is just about my favorite tank to play. I block from zero to 9000 damage completely dependent on the choices and skill of my opponents. I generally push to where I can unleash the DPM as much as possible and use my tank up. My one frustration is the many maps that are 100% hull down terrain and this tank has its weak spots on top and gun slung low.

Extra fun when you track and theirs repair was used, did that for a BZ 176, from full to 0 with nothing to do about it. Also love how a lot of people don't get the 5s reload, trying to rush you after firing. What matters most with it is the experience and accuracy of opponents.

Let me try to nerd it out. He did 4.7 dmg on average, but let's say 4.8 for easier calculations, since that makes it 12 shots a game. Gun can roll from 300 to 500 with 25% rng, so that's 200 unique roles. Let's assume, that they are all equally likely to happen. Since we are interested in only one roll (500), it makes it 1/200. We had 3 games with 12 shots on average so around 36 shots. Therefore we get 36/200 ~18% to get 1 max roll in tortoise with this performance. To get a chance to do that roll twice, we multiply 0.18 * 0.18 and get around 3% chance. So it's not likely, but not impossible. Hopefully my calculations are correct, because I am quite bad at probabilities:Ddd

At one million test cases, i got the probability of there being 1 max roll in 201 possibilities to be 16.46% which is a weird number and I don't see why your calculation would be wrong. Even considering that you took 200 instead of 201, that's a marginal difference. For the probability of there being 2 max rolls in 36 shots I got the probability of 1.396% which is also odd to me because your calculations seem correct. I'm really surprised by this. Btw, you forgot to account for killshots which wouldn't allow for a max roll to happen. First battle he had 12 pens, 3 kills. Second battle he had 15 pens, 3 kills. Third battle he had 11 pens, 2 kills. This totals to 30 hits which could have been max rolls. When you also remember that he had 2 blindshots on E 100 which we can't know whether they were max rolls or not, we are left with 28 penetrating hits. Rerunning the script, there's a 13% chance of there being one max roll. And there's a 0.8837% chance of there being 2 max rolls. It's a very rare thing to happen. Basically if you played 1 battle per year and it went like skill's average today, you'd have 2 max rolls in one battle once annually. Thanks for giving me an excuse to do some numbers with Python, proving once again that math is overrated and programming is much more useful :D

Best tank when enemy dont shoot gold or having bots in enemy team. Slow,easy arta target,easy LT/MT tank target. To me T95 is better TD less dpm but it slaps hard with more armor.

@@ohbleak Agreed T95 is maybe slower but that troll armor can bounce a lot and in tier 8 you are like truck full of pain for enemy.

I also prefer T95. Tortoise armor doesnt exist when enemies load gold when T95 can bounce gold amunition

After all these years this op td hasn't been nerfed yet while other TDs like the T95 with a bit similar playstyle got the nerfbat. This thing is an absolute monster. Get tracked by it and you are in the garage.

When i played it all the roof was a weak spot and was weaker than the tier 8 cuse of it but after the buff became OP indeed... i guess ill have to try it again now :)

OP???Highly depend on map and enemy skill.. That T44 can kill you on open space easy he just lost half of hp in that fight.. T95 was nerfed becuase of that insane armor values sure you have 2 weak spots but they are hard to hit from distance.

I want to like this tank, but can't make it work. Armor does nothing, the gun is fine but you are so slow that most games are won without even shooting twice. In today's meta this thing is useless for me. I wish it had more speed. It does turn fast, flanking this tank alone is pretty hard.
