Shrek in action. Never underestimate the HE shells of this thing, not to mention you have enough ammo to destroy two whole teams. This is the best marathon tank I've ever grinded. Great AP penetration (E-50M level) and insane HEAT pen at tier 8.

Everyone complains about BZ... but this is another silent villain of WoT p2w tanks. At least you can pen it... but you will get vaporized before you see it.

This is far away from BZ level. Thin armor, bad gun depression, mediocre camo. And many more player can't play with it properly than BZ. And it isn't strictly p2w. It was a marathon tank originally, while BZ could be bought only.

There are lots of premium vehicles that are drastically stronger that tech tree tanks. Marathons (very often close to impossible without paying) are just one-time promotions. After it is gone, tank becomes p2w since there is no other way to get it.

Tanks like ShPTK, Bourrasque or ELC Even 90 can be toxic only in hands of a very good player, but BZ is toxic in anyone's hands. That's the main difference. BZ is simply idiotproof and you can see that easily when it comes to winrate differential. BZ gives every player around +3.5-4% of extra wins (which is the highest among tier VIII premium tanks that are available for most of the playerbase). Bourassque works well only in the hands of players that have at least 55%+ WR, then it boosts their winrate by around 2%. ELC seems to boost every player's winrate by around 1% - with proper setup you can simply sit in a bush and be impossible to spot; everyone can do that. Stat wise, ShPTK doesn't seem to work that well for anyone, at least when it comes to winrate. For most players it actually has a worse winratio than expected, around -1%. Only 60%+ WR players seem to make it work properly, but it's nowhere near the level of BZ. You can have individually great performances in ShPTK, but it's difficult to influence the game as a whole. In today's meta heavy tanks win you games, not paper TD's that are forced to play support roles, especially on corridor maps we have now. Bourrasque can make use of it's high clip potential and camo late game, it's much harder to do in ShPTK.

One of the few battlepass tank i got. Good but you need to full focus to make it work. For new players ka-ri or su130 is far better.

Insaine dpm but very difficult to realize it. Tank has bad camo and most of the time you should keep big distance from enemy, which makes realisation of dpm very difficult, since the gan and shell velocity is crap. You can use exhaust system to improve camo but you will loose optic and without it tank is almost blind.

Totally busted tank. Peeps cry about the BZ-176 (rightly so) but this thing is up there with it in the OP stakes. It eats Bourrasque's and Progetto's for breakfast with it's disgusting HE rounds. It's super mobile with great camo. It can brute force it's way through any fight using it's DPM. You can mop up loads of kills at the end of a round when all of the enemies are on low HP. It's an amazing vehicle, if you keep enemies at range and just gets more and more dangerous the longer the game continues and the lower enemy team HP drops.

I agree it's very strong, but honestly I think the most overperforming tank in tier 8 alongside the BZ is probably the bourassque. Basically a light tank with a ridiculous cannon, it's carry potential is insane. I cannot stand when the enemy team has 2 or more of them, thank god this things HE is absolutely amazing. I love shitting on those tanks. I still find this tank more fun, but yes I agree it's borderline overpowered.
