It's pretty incredible how the IS-7 and Maus has remained relatively the same since the beginning, and they're still pretty meta in today's WoT. You can say they've been powercrept a little, but they're still great tanks in their own way.

The is7 was my first tier 10 tank over 11 years ago. It was and still is a beast. I recommend this tank to any new or experienced players

This tank as well as IS-4 need more ammo. From 30 to 40 and that's it. Both tanks sre old school heavies that still work. IS-7 can also snapshot. Almost impenetrable turret. Turbo builds with speed removers are glorious, super funny.

The thing I love about the IS7 is it just “feels” so beast to play. And while the gold pen is low the APCR is nice in frantic brawls when you don’t have to worry about tracks eating HEAT.

The is7 bond turbo build is absolutely amazing. Just bombing around like a fast medium tank, with godlike turret armor, and still amazing hull armor

IS-7 with in mobility spot and bond turbo seems to be something else some dude on reddit config‘ed it that way and made it have 70km/h effective top speed on all terrains

A very special tank in my heart. The swiftless of a heavium but the armor of a full blooded heavy tank makes IS-7 capable of taking forward hull-down positions quick. Once it digs in you can shoot at it with any gun and it will not matter because of its gorgeous turret armor. The biggest weakness of this tank is the low pen and no gun depression but it works fine even without these additions. Beautiful vehicle, a warrior that is still relevant in the game so many years after its release. Great starter tier 10 heavy.

Grousers, Turbo, Hardening, and Removed Speed Governer has created some games that I've never laughed harder at - I'd love to have seen the enemy team's WTF faces when they realized a solo IS-7 just got into their base and killed their Artillery, or when I ramkilled a full health Leo PTA

with this setup i found its better to run modded config over grousers for two reasons: it prevents fires, which i found i was getting nearly every game otherwise, and it improved the engine durability by 100 or 150% meaning that you are able to use your removed speed governer for a lot longer

This is the first tank I'm going for. The 3D model suggests that this tank should have excellent armor due to the angles of the turret. Is it worse than the S.Conqueror in your opinion?

My first tier 10 was the 277. It is probably better than the IS7 overall, but I still regret I didn't go for the IS7. In my oppionion the IS7 must be a lot more adequate for a novice player.

The grind for IS7 has been hard lol. IS gun play/ aim time is horrible how I play😂. I can buy IS3, but may do E75 instead. Since E100 grind has been actually amazing. though I really want IS7.

@@curtislaketek2952 quite frankly I enjoyed the E100 line more than the Object 277. The E75 is probably the best tank, tier for tier, in that line. I do have to say that the VK 100.01 is, in my opinion a very powerful tank at tier 8. Used it to solve blocking missions and all. Also, if you want to play Onslaught, the Maus seems to be a solid tank. However, I didn't go any further than the VK 100.01.

Is-7 was my first tier 10 in the game, then the GW. E. 100 and then the Obj - 268. I can say that i had so much fun playing the IS-7 for the first time and i honestly wish the old game would come back because i miss those moments without gold spammers and chieftains and stuff

Skeeel... 17:07 This is why you need to anonymize. Players use the baboon dance against you. He shot you 3 times prior to you dancing, taking most your health, then when you had the kill shot, he raised his peepee and you didnt shoot. You should only not shoot a dancer who never shot you, but I still say not shooting a baboon who "dances" ruins the game for your team.

Is-7 is impenetrable knu hull down. No weak spots. Just make sure to only show your gun and not the cheeks below it as i pen those with my JgPz E100 heats.

@masuz3972 you need money making tanks. A good balance, been playing since 2011. I'm not the best, but learned what makes me money. My T77 will bring me in a mill or so in 3 to 4 hours of playing.

This tank was recommended to me as a first tier 10 tank... What can i say. An abysmal experience. Everybody and their mom can pen me while this piece of crap gun cant pen most of the other tier 10s... Not to talk about the non existing gun depression. Went for the E-100 after the Is-7. Much better Experience and i can ACTUALLY PEN SOMETHING This tank fell out of the meta for me. Only thing going for it is sitting behind a dirtpile (how fitting)

Depends on how you play, are you a brawler or a support tank? They’re two different tanks. Obj277 has better gun with higher alpha, the armor is a bit less and less hp. The 277 can escape and get to places earlier… a bit more of a flexible tank due to having more medium tank capabilities. I would rather play 277 it’s more predictable , what oisses me off with the is7 is that it has a big pike nose hull which is easy to shoot at… u will get shot there all the time.

Man, this Saturday I was playing with the shit WT auf Pz Iv in Empires Border. An IS-7 gets hull down at our side on the north pass of this map. I was sniping form the bank when turn back, load gold and snaped the IS-7 hull down. The shot simply hit the view port at upper left of the turret just near the gun mantlet. Then I pushed over it and shoot another gold in its lower part of the turret now at the same plane, another pen. I fall back to reload and my team pushed over him. He notice that would be slotered and pushed in front against me to ramm me and I finnished him shooting his lower plate. After this game I went to Battle Hits to see what I had done. I'm still laughting. The 2 first shots were snap shots. The third was the unic that was really amied. This guy wannts to kill me, surelly. WT is a crap and this guys surelly could not comprehend what happend. I had no idea that IS-7 had that frontal turret weakspot.
