Rhino DPM isn't a problem at all. You just have to tab out and do other stuff when your clip is empty, so you won't even feel the reload time

Once I clipped somebody while playing the Rino and I managed to watch an entire Marco Pierre White cooking playlist while reloading. I learned some pretty nice recipes. 5/7, best tank in the game.

Rhino dpm is not a problem? God you dreaming. It is a problem because it doesnt matter how well you play, dpm is dpm and just cant argue with that. Even if you just shot once to keep best dpm, you still reloading for ages and 277 would slap you like there is no tomorrow

The armour buff was actually quite nice, when using 4-7* of gun depression it can hold up to gold a lot more consistently. As for the DPM, I think giving it 530 alpha would have been enough.

Make the intra clip reload 3.5s and shave 1.5s of the first and the last shell reload and this tank should be fine

Just buff the gun soft stats, since Rino have similar dispersion stats like FV4005 when moving and traversing, which is bloody ridiculous. Just by comparing gun dispersion stats on the move/traverse/turret traverse, FV4005 : 0.32/0.32/0.3 Rinoceronte : 0.3/0.3/0.14 Vz 55 : 0.16/0.16/0.8 Kranvagn : 0.20/0.20/0.18 You can see Rino is horrendously bad. Imagine having similar gun handling of death star. Vz 55 has better gun handling, plus its crazy 2 second mag dump. Kranvagn can afford it's gun handling as it has that crazy turret armour to give it time to aim, and even that, Kranvagn has better gun handling (aside from turret dispersion). Just improve gun handling, and Rino will actually have its niche and its own place to shine without making it OP like the other OP tanks. Make it similar with T110E5 and it can act more of a second line support and you don't even need to increase the DPM to make it excel at its role. It barely has armour, DPM is shit, speed is meh for the armour it has, so why not give it good gun handling on top of its amazing gun accuracy. That's all I want to make Rino special in its own way and not just a cookie cutter OP hull down/burst damage autoloader tank like all the other damn tanks.

I remember when WG reduced the armour on the turret of the Comet because they had measured an actual tank and armour in game was too thick. Now WG introduce new tanks with 'once upon a time'.

The armor buff just protects it until TD's regular round pen. Is it life-changing? No. But at least you won't feel frustrated anymore like when you can be penned by regular rounds in your face.

Not like it's changing that much. Before patch mediums could shred it's turret with standard APCR and tds could reliably pen without gold. Now, only the TVP might struggle a bit to pen the turret but the HEAT lol pen 330-340 from soviet tanks will go through as always unless you are using max gun depression and even then you pack 350-360 mm of armor, which is high but not unbeatable. It's a similar situation as the E-100 turret. Only tier 8s might struggle against it.

I wished they made it 440 alpha and reduce loading.Even though its dpm stays same, u shot more shot at least you feel yourself more in game, more effective. Its just awful to reload 14 second for 490 alpha while 277 is in 8.5 sec

@@sontran5312 if they made it 570, gun should be trolled .But tank like this or bisonte, each shell must be hit otherwise you fcked up badly. With recent amx m4 buff we saw that. Big alphas with decent gun handling is just not Ok. Also Wot wont buff the 3 shell magazine tank to 530 or 560 alpha I think. Also tier 8-9 are low alpha and they were so enjoyable tanks unlike rino

The only good things about this patch is this map, even though we don't really understand about the balance of this map yet but it still gives more variety. All the nerfs are just to force you to grind other lines. All the big buffs are good for the tanks but bad for the game. They buff firepower instead of survivability to make the game even faster. T57 & Rino's buffs? What buffs? WG is on their mission to do whatever they can for monetization. The only thing they care about now is how to milk as much as they can before the game dies.

Wow almost as good armor as Bz-176. The corridor bay is anoying with lightly armored tanks. All face to face engagements no manuvering possible. 2 or 3 spotting positions with limited firesupport ability. Heavy tank map. Like berlin but makes you dream of your holiday.

Ive played a couple of games on it, and i was not amused. Did not feel different at all. As some ppl mentioned below, whats frustrating about this tank is that a mandatory crew skill like intuition is useless on this vehicle. Turret armor is the same thing that before, just number 2 and get farmed, you are not as good hull down as the conqueror for example, and you do not have the dpm to hold a position like those kind of tanks. Still its a challenging tank to play, ive enyoed it before the buff, like the amx 54, but its subpar with the rest of the tech tree lines. Thanks for the video.

This tank needs 3 things: a 4th shell or an intraclip buff, a speed buff (from 45 to 50) and the intuition fix. And even then it would become simply playable

Just give it good gun handling, and it won't be the same boring ass style of tank like the other OP tanks and actually excel at its own special niche. Like T110E5 levels of gun handling, then I don't mind if its DPM is shit. Why is it so hard for WG to make it special? (It won't even be OP even with improved gun handling due to its crap armour and shit DPM). Instead of trying to make every other tanks OP hull down/ autoloader burst monster.

When was the last time you played the SU-130PM or Skorpion G? Since the 1.19 update the accuracy of these two tanks has sucked. Oh the numbers have not changed but the ability to hit the inner 25% of the aim circle has decreased by a large margin. Ans snap shots are completely impossible. It has been so frustrating for them to absolutely nerf tanks without saying so, if you want to nerf something then nerf it don't hide the fact you did.

Rhino isnt bad. But in the wrong sitation, you cannot shoot yourself out of it. The buff should have been on the gun. All 3 shells 1 or 2 secs faster reload.

the turret is WAYY better now not even a v4 with gold can pen the turret while using full depression and using none its like 320 so only certain gold can pen without and with even 3 degrees its at 360+ the tank feels pretty good latley im alot more confident to brawl with it now

Rinoceronte dpm is 1,872.61... closes dpm with same alfa dmg is IS7! From tier IX worst DPM winner is WZ144 with 1590 however you can put rammer, also second place lorrane 50T, after that there are couple of close dpm tanks but with high alfa, or stock guns. Rhino has one of the lowest dpm from tier IX aswell. IN TIER VIII its like in the down 20% but also... GUNRAMMERS. This tank has like the lowest dpm of all 3 TIERS! AND ITS ON TOP OF TIER X!

Your equipment setup says it all really ... vstab and iau... 2 slots required just to make the gun work. If you don't have that, then expect games where you take 10 shots hit 7 but pen 2 or 3. DPM worthless if you can't hit things. And I'm not taking about sniping either.

I am kinda Rhino enjoyer. The best think about rhino is that shitty DPM. After full clip I can go to WC, make coffee or eat something, and when I come back usually it takes last 2 seconds to load the last shell.

You say the gun handling is nice but in my experience it is the poster child for bad gun handling. The bad gun handling really chocked out the good aim time and makes those crucial shots extremely difficult. I ended up setting up mine for maximum gun handling and aim time to counter act it.

If they make the alpha of the Rhino's standard rounds to 560 dmg, but keep the heat rounds 490. I don't think there would be much complaining. though im sure it would cause a bit of a stir. Otherwise, they can make a trim to the reload so that it's 12 / 14 /16 would also be applicable.

Most autoloaders are like that though. Škoda T56 has the meanest alpha potential at tier 8, but once those 2 shots are gone, you have a 20s window where it's less harmful than a tier 3.

Despite of the poor dpm, any tank with over 300mm gold pen can now go straight through the root part of Rino’s gun from front. Just picture Rino being your girlfriend and some random rich dude just paid gold to shoot on her face. It’s probably not a good way to put it but that’s exactly how it feels.
