I would have prefered if the buff the pen stats too. 200 and 244 pen in this meta are ridiculous. Allthough it is the same gun as the Königstiger has 🤔 But it looks more playable now.

Played with stockish Ferdinand (with JP gun) yesterday, BZ turned the turret to the side and I still couldn't pen it at 300m with either 200 or gold 244. 😆

Thank you for another nice video. I am approaching my campaign reward where I get to pick a tier eight tank and this is the one I’m considering. For my tier six tank reward I chose the vk30 on the e100 line so I have a good start toward the main German heavy line. I am also near tier seven on the Italian td line for minotauro which I’m happy about. I like this game wish it was less pay to win but for now here we are. TTYLpee pee salute.

I think weakest part is not roof but that armor above tracks,seems Patriot knows that well.

I loved to play it way back before it became useless due to powercreep back then. It was a fast heavy/medium with a 10.5cm on T8, which was godlike for me and kind of my E50 at T8. Prefered it over the 8.8cm from the Panther II or Tiger II. It was not too bad at sniping either. The aim time was short so you could peek a lot too.

After the buff, this tank feels much more related to the new KPZ 07 P(e) than with the PZ 7. Maybe the Germans are getting a fast heavy line

tiger 2 is still better of in the overmatch forehead issue. 50mm vs 40mm. So vk can be overmatch by 121mm+ guns, for tiger 2 you need 151mm+. Against bz its irrelevant but the majority of tanks don´t have 155mm guns.

I did a video 8years ago called "How to play the VK.45.02 A" because I was the only one playing it and I loved that tank. But after many updates it became useless cause all other Tier VIII were overpowered (IS3 im talking about you).

No it cant. I just played a session with it last night. It's alpha, armor, and penetration still arent enough. It's still a relic of the past, like the FCM 50t but without the luxury of any of the speed, DPM, *nor* the preferential MM rules.

When I was playing this tank 8 years ago I did much better with it than Tiger ll. If they buff it, I will acquire it again. I bounced incredible amounts of damage by angling the front hull

35:07 Tell me this game isn't rigged, where the hell did that shot go? His whole reticle was on enemy tank, there was no possibility for his shell to hit anything else - nor do you see it hit anything else. His reticle clears the ground just as he fires, the shell clears the ground (no impact explosion or dirt splash) and then hits nothing at all.

The buff really helped the tank, but i think it is still not "good" but average at the best compared to all the Tier8 Powerhouses. I played it in Frontline just before the patch and now after the patch, so changed tank feels much better than before. The one featured that let this tank down for a long time - the bad penetration values on standard and premium ammo for 105mm gun - have not been touched. This can be understand in a way as the same gun is used on other tanks too. Buffing the penetrations for 05mm gun should then have also have effect on other tanks, which is then a "general buff" for german lines. Also the differnce to other german 105mm gun might be dimished /lost

when it comes to blockers like that tortoise, there are only two ppl- those who do so on purpose to gain more damage, and those who are bad at the game, which is worse- because they don't know what they are doing and will keep on doing so even when there is nothing to gain from it.. in other words, an ego player that hinders his team is still better than a total noob that plays in sniper mode 90% of the time.

17:50 changes to this map just made the heavy lane another braindead hulldown festival. I really wish they would stop "rebalancing" matches but just adding more bumps/ruins to sit behind or more bushes to play hide behind. As if the ones making the map changes are mouthbreathers themselves changing the maps to red bot likings.

This tank is by far in my top 5 of biggest turds in my garage , it behaves like a pack of butter with a gun on it. I somewhat like the gun but thats it. Armor is almost not existing 😂 but the MM is also terrible , after 36 games i have 13% winrate with it. Almost every game is a total blowout no matter what I do so I dont feel like playing it that often. Same with the vk3002 , exactly the same. Both are "mehh" tanks.

In no way is this tank comparable (good) to VK 100. This tank is bad, its no heavy but can work as support. Thus, not performing its role. Not fast enough and armor not holding up. Comparison to Tiger II is misleading, its nowhere comparable due to lower pen and damage as well as armor on the Tiger does actually work.

@@jakubhoke9526 I'm talking about the t95, most apparent when fighting one that is on a slight incline. You can shoot up into the tracks frontally while tracking and damaging it in the same shot. The vk 45 A also seems to have this problem. Although I've only ever went for this while fighting t95, I don't see many of the vk45A's on the battlefield. I'm not referring to overmatching the roof armor. What you said is good to know tho for big caliber guns.
