I absolutely adored this tank, bouncing shots for days, even against higher tier enemies. Unfortunately had to sell it, but i think i will buy it back since i had so much fun with it. Would love to see a video about his tier 9 older brother.

704 is nastier but people will pen your turret ring with over 330 pen.

The first time I ever joined your stream, you were marking this tank. You made it look so dang fun and powerful. Recently I decided to try and complete the missions and I need a heavy tank. I watched your video on "Best Tier IXHeavy Tanks for new players" and saw the 705 there. I knew I had to go down this line, and then today, a wonderful new video. (Why Tier IX instead of X? Because after I grind this line I will likely move on, and I want the line to be enjoyable more than the tier 10. Tier IX is the longest part of the grind.

Sweet ya a few updates needed on the index :) there are some I've seen in the last couple days that are as far back as 2020.. and a couple of 3 that don't have ANY video's at all .. Keep them coming ! ps. It would also be nice if you mentioned where and how to pen/beat the tank your playing... was having a hell of a time penning this IS-M in my little Tier 6 tank :)

As my first rear-turreted tank, I hated the stock version & was on the brink of selling it. I remember when I finally researched the turret on it. I think I even got so angry that I converted some free xp to buy it earlier. After that it became one of my most played AND LIKED tanks. Wargaming should really change the tech tree on tanks like IS-M, Ferdinand, AMX65T and so on. It's simply not comparable to other lines where the stock version not only performs better, but you grind less overall.

I actually enjoyed the IS-M. I only played it when it was initially introduced so I haven't experienced the full "power-crept" impact of modern WOT.......and I didn't play it stock.......but overall, not a terrible grind. Liked it more than the 705 or 705a tbh.......but I have a terrible phobia of T9 and T10.

Sometimes I start to believe in conspiracy theories in this game. The game decides when you win or not and there's nothing to do about it. There's only so much carry you can do. As an example, the Iron Arnie is a MUCH better heavy (even tho it's a medium) than the Caliban right? Yet with the Caliban I have a ~67% win rate, but with the Iron Arnie a measly ~40%..

So I've been grinding the British heavy line. Black prince 2k wn8 57% wl Caernarvon 2k wn8 60% wl Conquerer I was at 67% win loss. That's after many many many games. the last week I've literally lost 98% of the games I've played. It's brought my win loss on the conqueror down to 51% Even though statistically I'm doing better in it with the exception of wins. Every single game has been a 15-0 stomp. Went from feeling great at the game for months to wondering what happened. Lol

@@stevendrake477 What do you expect? You play the tier 7 and 8 at 2k wn8, so I would assume it to be similar with the Conqueror. 2k wn8 does not get you past 60% winrate. You got lucky in your first matches, hence the 67% winrate and then lost matches again, which made your winrate closer to what it should be, based on your impact on the matches. WoT players these days spent way too much time jumping to stupid conclusions instead of using basic logic

@@racernatorde5318 I've actually been playing at around a 2.5 wn8 in the conq lol. Id bet my house, 99% of the time I was #1 on the losing games and top 3 in the winning games. And damage really is the main Force for wn8. When it's a complete blow out in less than 2 mins don't expect someone to do the damage they can in a longer game. My point being stats aside it's pretty crazy when for weeks or months you do fantastic, then for no reason and no fault of your own you just magically lose every game even though you're doing better than you had been. Edit it also wasn't t in my first matches. It was hundreds and hundreds of games lmfao. Not 10

@@stevendrake477 Even with 2500 wn8 you should not expect a winrate higher than 60%. Perhabs something like 55-60%. Hard to tell just by wn8 alone, cause wn8 as a sole indicator is borderline worthless (Of course knowing that it's about the Conqueror makes it somewhat useable). What's your DPG in it? Average assist? Average lifetime or KD? How many hundred games exactly? Those values are alot more useful for judging it than wn8 PS: Appreciate the...how to put this...somewhat open minded response, I guess. Usually I just get further conspiracy theories, insults or whatnot. People can be really creative when it comes to not accepting their own mistakes

@@racernatorde5318 nah I get it. I'm my harshest critic. I definitely call myself out for doing dumb things and playing poorly lol. I am on console so I'm not sure if that skews anything. And you're correct about wn8 alone. I just use it as a base since if we're being honest, at least in my experience that's what people tend to focus on. So on the winning streaks I had, I was getting about 3.5k On the huge loss streak, been some days now but it was around 2.8k My survival in it was 41.89% Kd was 1.9 Stat wise though genuinely, I couldn't do anything with it stock grinding. Once I got the top gun that's when I did much much much better. And I like the tank, so I've played 756 games in it. I appreciate my win % shouldn't be as high as it was. I don't think it should be at the 52% though that it's at, playing at the bottom of unicum though. Like I said it's just weird to me that through 3 tanks I felt like I was winning everything, and even with doing well, better actually in the conq I can't win anything. Even when I'm doing everything better.
