I feel like that they would have a low skill cap since you got only one simple thing to do to do well (279 e- wedge your hull upward so nothing in this game can pen you, chieftain- go completely hull down with only your turret exposed so nothing in this game can pen you). I don’t see how thats hard to do.

Steel hunter is not even world of tanks, just a terrible wannabe mobile game. But my point is stopping rewards tanks was nothing but appealing to the masses. There are other factors giving players an advantage. Most people with those tanks have them kitted out. Some tanks handle totally differently with bond or bounty equipment. At the end of the day ranked is just randoms with end-game rewards.

The problem on NA with the 279e is that there are not enough players, so 279e ends up in a full tier 10 game 90% of the time. I struggle with mine, yet I hold my own. It would be so nice to get some tier 9's once in a while, seems like EU being more populated is beneficial to the 279.

Well 279 e is fun, but I preffered to play with Spall liner. And for all of you guys Quick tip how to ez got 279 e (complete all of the 15th missions in the campaing with honors and then you can unlock 2 last missions from 279 without doing missions before it and then you need to complete only 2 sets of missions) I completed all Americans and swedish sets with 8 premiums and got obj279 e easily

your right . that tractor is broken . it was holding by himself a ridge line , my team had to gang up on him 2 conquerer, one e100 and my obj29something . i lost my tractor, because i jumped first due to the urss bias armour , and i died obviously .but wee toked that flank and won the game

I can agree on the tank being broken. Basically no down sides beside the gun depression. Frontally a beast, especially against people who have no idea to penetrate it (so basically 85% of the playerbase). The HE spam is frustrating as f very often, be it artillery or just some random tier 10 heavies who for some reason carry 80% of their ammo loadout in form of high explosives. One thing that has to be considered is that this tank is played by the most dedicated and experienced players, that actually got their shit together and made the missions. So it is very common that if you meet a 279e the player playing it will most likely be above avarage. This leads to very high results in this tank. Ofc no doubt that it's broken by itself, just underlining that it gets even more drastical trough this. I personally own the vehicle and enjoy it a lot, it may be just me, but I have satisfaction slaughtering HE spammers that where trying to get rid of me. I have always also been the type of player that likes vehicles that make the enemy shit their pants. Tanks like T95, Tortoise, 260, 279e just scare the enemy so much with their pure existence that it makes me laugh.

Tier 10s will tear you frontally? Depends what you are fighting. An IS7, Obj705a and especially the Kranwagen will do probably nothing against the front part even with their gold rounds. Kranwagn has 300 mm pen on its premround good luck trying to open an 279e frontally. P. S. That thing is frontally so strong and they even gave it a 340 mm penetration on its premround. Why? They should have given it 310 at max.

Well I got 279e and my opinion is not that op how was at the beginning, in tier 8 it is a GoD , but tier 10 almost all tank can penetrate with gold, if you are lucky and the enemy do not try to pen you because your armor penetratin marker orange not green in that situation you are lucky, but when you get those ppls who use gold on you you have a bad day mate :D almost all tank can penetrate with gold at the front easily, even when i play against 279e easily penetrate them :D as I see your video you are really lucky guy and also you got the skill too to make it them hard to pen you moving the tank al the time, lift up the front of the tank, you got the skill, but not that hard to penetrate this tank if you know how to do :D :D gun is prety good acurate but got slow ammos so not that good for sniping :D but overall yes it is a good easy to play with it tank D:

Tank engines, transmissions and fuel tanks sit down in hull between drive sprockets, either in the rear or front of tank..So with 4 tracks, where is the engine, transmission and fuel tanks?
