I 3 marked the TigerP a few weeks ago and I used an atypical setup. The tank's armor works better if you can make people panic, so I put everything into mobility. I used grousers, turbo and rammer. I even dropped the medkit and used gas. I was juking shots like crazy and I could go 40 km/h consistently. I played it like a heavium and it worked wonders. Field mods + crew skills required to fully unlock its mobility. I really love Girls und Panzer and they customized a TigerP with a new engine to make it fast. That was my inspiration for the build and I was surprised how well it worked.

"The tank's armor works better if you can make people panic" This. Whenever you have a slow armored-ish tank try turbo setup guys. Because even if it doesnt work all the times, it will be 100% fun games I can promise! I did that to the KV-5 and it's funny as hell (but this one is more commonly known as a turbo setup)

I've also triple marked it, and I usually try sniping and spotting, reason being it can spot well and sniping allows for the armour to work, because it can be hard to penetrate at a distance (at least for lots of people who never learn). Also, I've noticed sometimes it's better to expose more than just the turret, because some people will be tempted to shoot at the hull, which would be not a good idea (for them). Now I'm trying Tiger I and I like it less. Maybe it will change when I get more skill sets for the crew, because I like a good view range a lot. But yeah, its armour is a lot more useless, and the mobility is not much better, so compensating by moving more is hard.

Tiger(P) had a gasoline-electric engine, the electric engines gave power to the drive. That meant, the tank's reverse speed was nearly equal to the forward speed. (if my knowledge is not wrong) It would be good to see this in the game, don't you think?

It can also pivot without moving the hull forwards or backwards.

Tiger (P) is the best tier VII heavy of the ones I've tried, including T29. T29 is workable but difficult, Tiger P is just awesome. But this was a couple years ago, in 2017-2018 - maybe balance has changed since then.

I remember this tank from back in the days. Like 2014-2015...Oh boy, when El Haluf was so much different than now. This tank was good at that time. I had so many games with people trying to hit my hull :):) Now WOT looks like a different game and I feel so damn old....

This used to be a surpising beast. In the days that 200mm front armour was amazing. And the mantlet+turret armour was also hard to pen for most tanks. But with all the gold ammo on reward tanks this is no longer the cass.

When I first played with tiger P I had already heard how awful it was but because my expectations were low my experience wasn't actually too bad. It's not good by any means but I thought it was going to be much worse.

Bad players make bad generalizations, good players just play something better as they want to keep that Win Ratio up. To be fair I have played since launch and the P was not bad (not good) back then and I actually liked it, you seldom got in a match it would not pen stuff pretty much any time you aimed OK (Unlike today). But those were in the days when you didn't always get crap matchmaking. I have not played it in a few years I am guessing. But Everybody hates the LEE and I had a 57% Win Ratio with it, again that was many years ago and I am pretty sure I have not played it in several years. I am not a great player hazard to say maybe not even good or OK overall only a 54% win ratio and haven't even reached tier ten, but I have EVERY tank ground to tier 8 no money sunk in. Don't play much nowadays the game is just not very fun for average players anymore, just the long-time hardcore and a few like me who never gave up and never really got better who are just canon fodder.

@@clok1966 I have a theory that everyone hates Lee because it's marked as a medium but in reality it's a decent TD. I think I played Lee last time in 2013 as a noob and hated it. Then I played Grant (british Lee) when it came out and I had the mindset that it's a TD and it wasn't bad.

I had a good time with the Tiger P. Winrate way north of 50%, actually much better than I had in my Tiger. I remember I bounced way more shots. But that was years ago, don't know how the tank would do today.

My opinion on the tiger p, it is a balanced heavy. It just shows you how much powercreep happened and it is now a balanced tank in a sea of powercreeped stuff. Imagine that a heavy tank with weakspots? This is awful. It must be frontally impervious and its "weakspots" must be at least 260mm thick.

Slow, full of weak spots and outdated alpha damage. The tank was always bad but after the tiger 1 has been buffed it's awful.

Tiger (P): -Uses the same gun as Tiger I but has worse gun handling and dpm; -Uses the same turret as Tiger I but has a bigger cupola; -Has almost the same engine power as Tiger I but is heavier/slower; -Has nominally thicker frontal armor but puts it only on the two applique plates clearly marked with rivets for opponents to avoid. 10/10 Porsche is the best.

this tank was a surprise to me. though 1750 dpg isnt the best at tier 7 i feel like i managed to make it work, and it worked surprisingly well. however it was quite a few years ago i think.

I remember playing with this tank, to get both VK4502 and VK100.01P and sure it was not the best tank but against tier 7/6/5 it felt quite good especially if you get used to those 200mm of armor on the front causing some even well shots bounce. Also its slow, but if you slap turbo on it like me it feels quite better, the gun is german so at least something good.. also It was my first tank ever which i 2 marked just while exping the both VKs And yeah, nice vid skill keep up the good work

I had both , Tiger P and Tiger 1. For me Tiger P was far better than Tiger 1 because it have better armor! After Tiger P will come 3 very good tanks. VK 100, Mauschen and Maus! I like to play strong armor tanks.

The german tanks have was always the best at sniper and there was a Day that any Tiger or the T- 29 line was feared for hull down when gold rounds didn't exist and a T -30 was like meeting GOD at tier 10 because of turrent armor it had .

I kind of like the punchy gun on the tiger p, and I think if they just armored up the shoulders a bit, and upped the dpm, it would be an OK tank. With the weak shoulders, it's a lame duck however.

they should give it the same 280 alpha like the tiger H. the 240 is just a slap in the face considering they use the exact same gun. the lower reload is allright considering the armour (those rare times your armour still matters)

I was quite surprised by this vehicle. You are quite fast even though you turn like a wardrobe. Sadly you have little armor but a large HP pool, and the gun I found to be excellent for brawling. Its definitely not the best in T7 Heavies and has clear weaknesses, but ive come to like this tank quite a bit...

Ai ai ai i wish i would have finished this grind earlier. Started it 2 years ago to the vk100 and stopped, because the tiger pee annoyed me. now i am thinking about to finish the grind to the maus, and i am not sure about is it worth nowadays.

Skill can we get AT15 please. I saw Tanks GG and I saw that the AT15 had way less armour than its predecessors and successors. Same tier tanks can pen it with AP in the front. So it'd be interesting to see how you play with that tank.

my first Tier 7 tank heading to the Maus pre v0.7.... I was so mad my 200 mm armor could get pen'd. Same problem a tier higher with the Tiger II and VK 45.02 A. They share many of the same modules but the ones on the Henschel design have better stats. Before there used to be strengths and weaknesses to each line, now the Porsche designs are just worse.

Oh boy this tank... the turret roof can be overmatched with 76mm guns the turret ring can be penned by pretty much every tier 5 tank and if you angle the armor even tier 4 tanks would be able to penetrate the hull. If at least the armor would work this tank could be playable at best but with more weakspots than actual 200mm of frontal hull armor I have no hopes for it. Day 29 of asking for a video with the Jagdpanzer IV.
