Lesson to be learned: save you money! Your gameplay stays the same no matter the tank. Still shitty MM. Still 15:5 games. Still putting you on noob team so you loose credit, consumables etc. Tier 7 and 8 is fucked up now. And i dident mention ebr, elc, cvs stupidity etc. Bz-176, grom, tuttle, xm67, contradictius and the rest of op tanks. Pure pay to win!

Kajzoo summed it up best, this tank is completely disgusting and wg putting higher alpha tds into the game speeds up battle contributing to more frequent 15-1 landslide battles and not to mention this TD can get matched up against skorpions and other paper tds effectively giving the opposing team an extra heavy tank, not to mention when this thing is hull down and firing gold yoh have to hit a tiny cupola against it and it can pretty much pen you anywhere

It's the most OP t8 to date, and it was given a triangle role. Which overflows to the 6's and such the most often. It 1 shots all of them. With armor. And it's capable of holding vs t10's. Anyone who complain about 176 should be screaming about this.

In fact, it's COMMON with XM57s ending a game with damage done even below 1k. It's SLOW. And not agile. Side and rear, it has paper for armor. Everyone has already learned where to pen it from the front. It only took 3 days and suddenly everyone and their auntie could pen it without goldammo from the front. It has poor viewrange Turret traverse is GLACIALLY slow. Its gun handling is fairly POOR. My last game with it yesterday, i missed 3 FULLY AIMED shots at heavy tanks, 3 shots in a row even, at less than 100m range. And while that was unusually bad, this is not rare. And i even have an upgraded IAD, ie +8% accuracy, on it. Even Skill outright says himself in first minute that his games were everywhere from great to terrible. Yes, the XM57 has great potential, but it is nowhere near broken once you play it for a while and realise how hard it can be to achieve good games with. Or play against it. It's unpleasant to face, but unless you're unlucky, it's absolutely not overpowering.

a tank that can easily do it's own HP in two hits is totally broken , other tanks that can do this are glass cannons or turretless TDs . this tank even with very stupid peaks can do it , it can come and hit very fast from around the corner , and if it's hulldown and most of the tanks it faces can't pen this tank when it's just showing the turret , and the DPM no problem there either , the skill required to dominate in the battlefield is quite low , that's why i think it's op and broken and does not fit in the game. the only reason that makes it okay , is that it's hidden behind a big pay wall that not many can afford and that exactly makes it pay to win .

"Against tier 10, it just DIES most of the time." most other tanks struggle against equal tiers and it's not stronger than tier x obviously, but for real it can still perform very well and do the trades , and if you see weak armored tanks , you get the chance to slap it with 1k HE !! immagine how to other guy feels lol. "Most XM57s i see in games right now, they end their games with 1k to 2k damage." that is does not reflect the overall performance with this tank, stilll is very very forgiving , some people are just pressing W and hope for the best , and i know a redeeming factor for this tank is that it's a paytowin tank some there are not are well to pay 200 euro to get it , and having the money doesn't reflect the skill of the players, but the tank itself still 100% op from what i see and i am playing since 2013 and i know a lot about this game.

This is one of the few TDs I enjoy because it has such a wide gun arc. It's almost like a turreted TD. Love this and the new BZ 159 medium out of the boxes. The real OP tank out of the boxes is the tier 5 TD SU 100I. Tier 7 gun on tier 5 TD...

I was afraid of the tank. But I found out that even with my 8 TD Italian (with top gun) it is possible to shoot the cupola with basic ammunition. So it's not that bad.

More of a T95 at tier 8. T95 has 400 more dpm, 6 more pen, 120 more alpha, 50 more HE alpha, 0.3 better aim time, 0.05 better dispersion, 0.09 better moving and tank traverse dispersion, 5 degrees better elevation, 2 degrees worse depression, 65 degrees worse gun traverse, 4 worse top speed, 4.6 better power/weight, 2 degree better tank traverse, same armour for the superstructure of T95 as the turret of XM but the XM hull is weak, T95 has 500 more hp, 10 less view range. They are pretty much the same other than the hull armour. If a play takes advantage of cover or other ways to reduce chances of getting shot there, it is op at tier 8.

Just played a game with mine, and got killed from the front, by a M4 49, ie tier 7 heavy. Still managed 2.4k dmg, but got 3 really annoying misses. The accuracy and gunhandling truly sucks.

Please feature the Achilles on the extra channel because it is total pain to play with, it has worse stats than any other tier VI TD and even most if not all tier V TDs. It is way too overrated at yellow on the skill4ltu index and I am not willing to play 50 battles in the damn thing just to rate it, it is just too painful. You cannot pen anything with it, I only watch helplessly my team being obliterated without being able to help except maybe by spotting. Many light tanks in its tier have a better gun than it does. I would be happy to see you giving us some insight on how to make it contribute to the team but in my view it certainly does not belong to tier VI and loses all around in practically every comparison except spotting to nearly all other tier VI TDs.

I hate it with a passion. The gun is derpy. Armor works if you are hull down and using bit of gundepression. If the enemy has view of upper plate or you are angled 220mm pen is all that it takes to bring this thing down. Every shot that pens you is ammorack. This hapens so much i run bounty config now instead of turbo. Its a tank to sit in position and wait people push you. If you try to make pressure and the enemy knows where to aim every shot will pen and ammorak you. I truly hate playing this tank and playing against it. Its not like the bz because its so slow and some games you wont be doing anything because you are just too slow to chase the damage.

I’m quite suprised that people find this tank so disgusting. I find it very strong in the right hands but most of the time I see people performing pretty badly in it. And for me even thought I’m top 5% player (pretty decent) I haven’t got those amazing games on this tank as I would have though. Don’t get me wrong I’m doing consistantly very good but I think the speed maybe or slightly trollis gun or something does it for me that the tank hasn’t been my favourite. I would say that Renegade and similar bit faster and more accurate tanks have been far better for me. I would even go so far that I haven’t even had problems with dealing with these XM’s. There seems to always be some part to shoot and while I prefere these more accurate tanks I’m pretty much always hitting and while the XM misses or shoots some else Renegade could finnish off the whole tank. Summa summarum: big boy alpha and armor makes it reliable and easy to do ok with. The lack of speed and the shape of the vehicle combined with the long reload makes it hard to do amazing or control the situation if the enemies aren’t just crap like they quite often are during the christmas😂.

@@Battleneter also the 155mm gun on the XM vs. 150mm gun on the Grille. Module-damage is tied to the guns caliber, not the alpha. So, since the XM has a slightly bigger gun it gets slightly higher module-damage.
