@ZiX23452 ай бұрын
Pushing by default helped me get out of elo hell. But at some point I overextended this idea and I was pushing when I shouldn't. Another idea helped me stop doing it. If there is a teamfight going on I ask myself: "What are they fighting for?". If it's for objectives, I'll probably join. If it's some random fight in jungle for air I'll probably skip. And people like fighting for air.

Leaving lane to help a fight in the jungle is usually for jungle camps (jg exp, gold) as well as jungle priority; same as lane prio. So it's not exactly "air", but you should absolutely be able to make a decision on if it's worth it to keep your jungle safe or if you need to just give it up.

Honestly this is one of the first skill capped videos where I genuinely felt like, because of previous videos, i had a pretty solid grasp of the concepts going into it. I still learned some stuff of course, but i feel like my decision making has actually improved a lot from when I started watching and that feels awesome. Even if, sometimes, I follow the advice and my teammates claim that I'm trolling (by getting three towers and mid inhib in the late game instead of going to a dragon fight we were NOT winning with the enemy so fed) , I still feel like I made a decent decision even if it didn't win me the game. I know I'm just like... one person, so my experiences aren't necessarily universal, but I gotta give these videos credit. If you follow the advice and learn to think for yourself and apply the concepts within you'll see yourself making much better decisions and starting to get more consistently decent plays.

I'm Iron, but I've definitely noticed that the slightest hesitation or stalling for even a second can lead to losing games. Teamfights that are not 100% fully committed or lane pushing where you're even a second late because of thinking "Maybe I should help my mid" can lead you to losing the game. I remember playing Nilah with endgame build and base racing top lane. When Nilah is full build, she is DESTROYING turrets. But I was hesitating to fully push top, worried for enemy to try and get me, because we were in a losing game where they are smoking us. Despite that I decided to hardpush top, and I ended up losing the base race with only half the hp of the nexus remaining. So we had no turrets and half nexus hp, but if I hadn't hesitated to push for one second, I'd manage to destroy the tier 3 turret and nexus turret along with the nexus, the time it'd take for the enemy to walk over to our nexus. Most important moment I've learned yet

Incorrect. The "trolling" part there wasnt kogmaw not helping, it was smolder overchasing lucian so the fight was completely isolated. Even seeing kog in tribrush you can easily pick that fight and be out before he can move to help, because smolder chased after lucian e, so nobody could come help in the 2 seconds the fight lasted. If kog tried to rotate around and catch lucian after, then its still a lucian with vision on which side kog is going, and he can just slide out the other end. Even if j4 was at red or krugs and kog went up through river, they wouldnt be able to pick up lucian after.

The question at 06:48 isn't really fair. Kog Maw shows and it would be a 1v2. Idk why Kog didn't help his Smolder there. If kog doesn't show, I 100% agree. But you cannot calculate 1v2s by looking at Smolder's items.
@RecklessZetaАй бұрын
As a jungler, I strongly envy my laners to not fight on a side where there is no objective. I ask them to push if possible into enemy side and then reset or help me invade/establish vision for future objectives. This works 70% of the time, so I keep doing it
@checkyoursixgaming2 ай бұрын
You got LUCKY with that decision to kill smolder. You missed that KOG was right there. Kog decided to leave smolder high and dry. Also, you didn't know where J4 was. I am surprised you went back in there because it could have easily been a 1v3 instead of a 1v1. Had Kog not left at that moment to go back mid and J4 run straight out of base down mid, you would have died changing the outcome of that game completely. Well maybe not completely, but at least changing the trajectory enough to make it not nearly as smooth and easy.

@checkyoursixgamingАй бұрын
@@danyboile606 You don't know what you are talking about AT ALL. Go to 6:40 Both Kog and Smolder were in that side lane bush at the same time. Kog is shown literally WALKING AWAY from that bush to leave smolder on his own to deal with him as Lucian. Kog trolls the Smolder there. Kog was literally right there and walks away to go to mid lane. So yes, Kog would have made that a 1v2 from the start. Also, as far as the J4, the video has a time skip. J4 spawns at 21.59 game time. When smolder pops out it is 22.06. That is 7 seconds for j4 to rush from fountain if he wants to be part of it. By the time Lucian re-engages to fight and kill the Smolder it is 22.16 game time. It takes 22 seconds without any movement abilities in T2 boots to reach the outer turret. The location they fight is inside the outer turret. With T2 boots, and his E+Q combo from the base J4 could have EASILY made it to the fight in time as well had he rushed there to do so. While the results of the fight were "good" it was a very bad play to make there because he could have easily died in a 1v3 fight instead. Speaking of which, Smolder could have easily also played that better to kite him out if team mates were on the way as well. He took a high risk, low reward play there and the gamble won. It is actually usually the opposite of what they teach in these guides he did here.
@hansjurgen4567Ай бұрын
@@checkyoursixgaming I just want to add this on. When he says at min 4:11 "nah i am out" he portrays it as him moving to the sidelande because he doesnt get anything done in midlane. But doesnt even mention how his toplaner is literally sitting with him in midlane for no reason. The lesson should be "switch lanes if your sidelanes come cuddle with no objective up" or "catch waves if noone else in your team is". I highly doubt he would have went top lane there if gwen was up there pushing. Additionally, the reason adc wants to typically go midlane after laning phase is to enable the support. As your support can much easier get vision and help jungle while hovering around mid to protect an adc thats typically more vulnerable than an lucian (same with your jungler) and much less strong on 1 item than one as well. Another reason is that its much easier to farm in mid while being save even when the outer turret is down than on the sidelanes. In other words, if you play jinx with 1 item who won lane dont just push your toplaner out of their sidelane because you feel like you cant do much mid and try to make solo plays without your team being even remotely close.

That is not what makes the difference in low elo , you showed a game in which you won your lane phase , the top won and the mid remained even. You took T1 bot and top in less than twenty minutes. It is quite easy to pressure in such a condition. In most matches in low elo you have the top open in ten minutes with the opposing top laner with six or eight kills, your jungler in afk farming, and your mid lane in the same condition as the top lane with probably a killer opposing mid laner at zed or kata or Akaly killing you in 0.6 sec. These are the real conditions of an adc at low elo and that creates frustration for most players.

The play at 9:55 where you decide to push mid seeing enemy teammates right under you by a few steps is only doable because you're using a mobile ADC. Lucian E allowed you to do that and escape. Play any other ADC other than Lucian, Ezreal, Twitch, MF and any other mobile ones and you won't be escaping that situation. Good tip, but worth mentioning that doing so requires you to also have the kit to escape their potential rotation on you. Otherwise you die for a 100 gold wave and hand them a free shutdown.

exactly, bro was talking so pretentious the entire time when a good portion of his plays were coin flippy and he was only glazing himself because they went well. seeing no one on the map (they could be anywhere) with no teammate around and then glazing himself for only needing 0.2 secs to make the decision to push the wave is crazy he did bring up some good points, but a lot of his macro later only worked because the enemies were not making the right move/happen to not be there to punish him while making a risky play, which is coinflippy and not the "correct play" because a play working out does not immediately make it a good play. a play is good if you considered all of the factors and decided to push through with it because the pros outweigh the cons. so, for example, using all your summs to get a huge bounty. staying to kill smolder there was not a good play because kog was near (for some reason he did not back smolder up), no vision on jarvan, a champ that can just e+q and r and kill you, and he had a bounty (general rule of thumb is to play safer when ahead because you're stronger than the enemy by default; only way to lose the game is to lose your lead by dying and giving them resources. if you're behind, making risky plays are more warranted because you're likely gonna lose anyways if you don't tip the scales.)

If I run TP (because I dont need flash) and with my clone/boxes (ability to TP to those and a pink I place) I can be insanely annoying. I never even leave lane or go all the way back. Eventually 2...3....4 people come or all one at a time. Its great. I can then even TP to bot and suddenly be splitting bot. TP is the most broken summoners in the game. People forget every tower makes the other's minions stronger, you dont have to babysit the lane. Also that phenomenon where say : A person falls in a crowd, everyone assumes someone else will help. Same thing. Everyone assumes someone else will do it. There are other fundamentals at play here. Look how great that vision is all the way up and down lanes. You have a lot of data. I cant get iron players to even ward. lol Played against a guy who did this EXACT thing. I was like '/all dude all things aside you deserve a win' he pretty much took all 3 lanes solo. simple disrupt the average tempo and stability become a menace to their rythem cause chaos among them be steps ahead and proactive make them feel the presence of a thug
@premieress2623Ай бұрын
So this is why my adcs have decided to only side lane all game and feed the enemy team because they don't understand what a map and pressure are.

And now im curious what casio should do that game

not play against a challenger smurph, clearly.

Does your course have Portuguese subtitles? I want to buy it, but to really benefit from it, I need the subtitles to be in my language at least.
@Secret_Moon2 ай бұрын
Basically the lesson is: "I'm gonna consta split push aggressively because I know my challenger smuff is way better than them mechanically and I can 1v1 or 1v2 most of them, and at this level people don't know how to clear wave safely under tower (like that Smolder at 14:11), or how to collapse on me." That only flies because you're smuffing.

so whatf do u do when ur duuuumb afk team8s die and they follow u when u split pushing/?

This isn't even an ADC guide. This is like a wave/pressure guide.
@МафакаЙоуАй бұрын
So your suggestion is to implement top mentality to adc gameplay?
@vincenth2890Ай бұрын
The only way you can annoy ur enemy is just jungle gap and sup gap as an adc
@getupoleapor9 күн бұрын
ahhhh don't do this as an adc when your team needs you adc is important for team fights your playing split push champ here as an adc no bueno. but I do agree you should disrupt the regular rythem to the general flow of game by being proactive and not just doing the norm of what's expected

That's Actually one of the better videos i have ever watched about Macro. Very well done.
@zzzergling1079Ай бұрын
I've seen this in comments, but it's truth: basicly you telling me play ADC as i play splitpushers like yorick or fiora. the only difference that dmg/surviveability is shifted to dmg even further to dmg(compared to nasus or sion). I found what i could polish in my gameplay, but essentially whole video is about "how to play splitpusher that cant be responded by single person". If you can't win 1v1 against 2-3 enemies, pushing/farming becomes a nightmare. And as was told this style goes good ONLY if you are mechanicly superior that usually not truth and you like an inch better then your opponent. And may god help you, if you manage to fail 2 skilechecks. Gold difference would stomp your skill advantage
@shutdowng72 ай бұрын
Yeah, then the enemy mid laner who can clear a wave with 2 skills swap with bot lane and you will stay farming waves the exact same way you would on mid but more risky
@titansports03552 ай бұрын
This video was very helpful but it would of been a lot more helpful if you would of showed gameplay and examples of more games specifically a game against yone or yasuo or irelia or ekko on a champ with no escapes like jinx,Ashe, kog,
@titansports03552 ай бұрын
Because I’m pretty sure if that was the case and any of those champ were in this game he wouldn’t of been able to get away about 80% of the things he did in this video
@joefish41Ай бұрын
This is all well and good but when you push a side lane like that at low elo the rest of your team will take a 4 v 5 and lose the rest of the map. Even when you're the fed one doing all of the damage, people don't know how to be carried.
@TheEternalStudent699 күн бұрын
Do people not pull crazy shit like random lane swaps, ARAMs, all junglers, all bot/all TP, etc. anymore?
@skilla9205Ай бұрын
Xd you are ahead, so best thing to do is ran bot without TP before baron and let them take it. If it was higher rank then some plat, smolder just clear wave and u gave them baron for free. But good guide overall.
@UnPhasableАй бұрын
In summary: I pull off these plays because I’m infinitely better than you. Be challenger to be as good as challenger.

@thomasschulte67452 ай бұрын
Never seen a mid laner asking me to go mid xD guess my elo is too low for playing with people who watch guides. As an adc Main i my soloq elo i can be grateful when my mid doesnt go afk when i even ask to take a Single wave mid
@Kamishi8452 ай бұрын
I ask my adc to go mid all the time so I can side lane since I tend to play champions who do well in the side lane, and let's be real, a majority of low elo adcs don't have Hector's map awareness or threat assessment so when they stay in the side they just die because they perma shove with no sense of when it's safe to do so.
@NormalMagicalCat2 ай бұрын
is this a new version of Hector's hit and run strategy?
@vicvergara31382 ай бұрын
So if you are playing as Cassiopeia, how can you win?
@Dcutz2 ай бұрын
She probably needs to mirror the same strat as lucian.. she was trying to be everywhere at once as the carry, and when you do that, you get nothing done because you get stuck defending the plays the enemy is making. its hella annoying when your team cant do anything without you.
