@karsonkammerzell6955 Жыл бұрын
It's really true. One of the benefits to one-tricking a champion is that you start to learn what you can read in advance of doing something due to the muscle memory of knowing the champion's output. There are fights I take on Illaoi that I NEVER would have just because I know now that I actually do have the damage to win a committed fight before I even start it. For example, I'm Lv.5 into a Lv.5 Darius. I had the wave about two seconds to myself before he got back to lane after a back, I know I'm slightly a head in XP, and only a single minion from hitting 6. I know that I can all in him BEFORE I hit 6 as long as I time the minion death right. I expect he knows to stay away if I hit 6 first, but I'm banking on him getting baited into a fight only seeing me at Lv.5 and thinking I'm running it down. I W into him, start a Q animation towards the nearest near-death minion as he's grabbing me (Illaoi's animations are almost exclusively uncancellable), and as I hit 6, I'm now next to him, grab the spirit, ult, and run him down. That a courage and confidence I never had just a few years ago.
@kraven4027 Жыл бұрын
Actually I got out of silver just by not feeding and getting caught. Some might not think this is possible but I climbed almost instantly back in season 2 when I stopped chasing kills and being careful about ganks. My peak was diamond 2. Now I'm just a plat scrub cuz adulting. It's not until gold where I felt I had to be proactive and try to get myself or others fed on the team.

@Kamishi845 Жыл бұрын
He doesn't want to do that because Yone can keep extending the trade there, so it's not just a "I lost the trade", it's a "I lost the trade and hard" because Yone is likely running lethal tempo, so Yone will outdamage Zed and forcing an early flash as a result, and it's a flash Zed may need in order to retain kill pressure or just survive the lane in case of a gank.

I feel like Zed Yone isn't necessarily Yone favored or Zed favored, but more so just a skill matchup, I play both and have been on both sides, whoever is more skilled wins this, A good Zed will never get hit by any Q's or Ults by using his shadows and Ult invulnerability and will just slowly destroy Yone's from range with W E Q and eventually ult and R out and kill Yone before he can get any dmg in, on the other side, a good Yone won't get hit by any Q's and will abuse Zed any time his W or Ult are on cooldown. It's winnable for either side as long as they are competent with their champ

Do you happen to have a video on winning against overpowered toplaners like Garen who does 45% of your HP with a point and click ult? Or Darius with his built in ignite and instant tripple pot? (Yes I'm low elo it's why I think they're overpowered)
@Tastingo117 Жыл бұрын
Youre hung up on the things that make the champions strong. Think about what makes them weak. They are one-dimensional, meaning you always know what they should do next. They are also reliant on hitting their Q abilities. Against Garen, there are plenty of champions who can just walk away from his Q, or absorb it like Jax E or Riven E+W. Darius Q is dodgeable on reaction, so practice that and learn how to leave trades with him before he gets past the third stack (very champ specific). Finally, both of those champions are easily countered by a team if they are not fed, so avoid feeding them to begin with. If you go even with them early, it might just be an overall win, depending on your champion.
@biggiecheese2004 Жыл бұрын
Darius has very conventional counterplay, if you dodge his q you can absolutely kill him or trade evenly. Also make sure you fight back against Darius early. If he is like level 2 trying to run you down in your wave, your minions will equalize the fight for you. You'd have to give me your champ to give specific counterplay. Garen you have to try to get him to waste abilities and if you are low hp just recall. He can't be outplayed, especially with ignite
@satanm8c40 Жыл бұрын
@@Tastingo117 you actually gave 2 super detailed comments. Thank you. And reading it actually sounds super straight forward. Guess I hadn't thought about it enough. Also I think you asked about what champion I play. I really like Fiora. Her E with the tower rune and Tiamat is awesome for split pushing and often still win games because I am very low elo and people tend to send 4 players to my already behind botlane hah (also because sett isn't so difficult with her because of W)
@biggiecheese2004 Жыл бұрын
@@satanm8c40 Fiora is extremely good against Darius. Q into him to dodge his Q sweet spot and you can reaction parry his ultimate. Just don't freak out and you will easily win, especially since Darius can't really outplay your vitals. I would take conqueror in this matchup since grasp is just asking to get run down. You can 100% kill him level 1 too with ignite if you he starts q by just baiting it and qing into him to dodge it. I would also take goredrinker For garen, grasp with divine is your way to win. Q poke him often, and just parry his e to give yourself some breathing room for q cd to come back up if he tries to all in. If you parry his q you can all in. Fiora beats him pretty easily as long as you don't overcommit. Garen can't really do anything about Q spam, but if you mess up you have no way to win this matchup in an all in
@satanm8c40 Жыл бұрын
@@biggiecheese2004 Honestly appreciate the extensive comments. I usually always go divine sundered first item / Grasp and TP, next time against Darius I'll be trying out conq, gore, ignite. And always would W his initial Q, not thinking about ult. With Darius I do always W his Q. Sadly his E + ult seemed enough to kill me when all in considering his ult did about 45% my hp (he had ignite too) Most of the time I end up panicking and playing worse. (I am aware I have a bad mindset but that's a third party thing, and am working on that for more than just league lol) It's quite confusing to me why you would put so much effort in explaining it for me. Haven't seen many that would take the time. So once more (if it's not annoying yet) Thankyou :D
@lyctriangle Жыл бұрын
If most of you are wondering why he actually killed yasuo through exhaust is because ignite does true damage, and his minion wave also had a cannon minion, which at early game no armor means hes taking nearly champion auto attacks the entire time hes fighting zed. This guy thinks all of the damage was on him, however had he a less superior minion wave, his jg would have had to clean up. He leaves out the information where junglers have presence in this time. This is some great tips, but the next level goes deeper.
@Kamishi845 Жыл бұрын
Jungle presence is super random though and depends completely on the jungle matchup AND the mentality of the jungler. I got to love when I play mid and enemy jungle is camping my lane and my own jungler acts like mid lane doesn't even exist because they are premade with their top laner or something. I think this is more symptomatic in low elo because in high elo junglers have better awareness of lane states and strong and weak sides, but it's still extremely frustrating especially when you play a champion that especially thrives on playing towards your jungler.
@wissiw5276 Жыл бұрын
no.... he killed him because he was able to land literally everything while in his R, im talking 1or 2 Es (can't remember) but most importantly, all 3 Qs, with electrocute and the passive auto, and yes he had ignite obv that secured it, don't forget that yone was near half health, anyways thank you for coming to my ted talk.

If I'm honest, sometimes I do wonder how different SC content would be *if* it wasn't based on the NA server. I would love to see more content from different servers and while of course one can argue that there isn't *that* much difference across servers, I think there's a big difference between how servers play out in terms of meta and such. Like a lot of content creators say that Korea is much more aggressive with a much higher pace and the Chinese super server is complete ARAM, so I would have a hard time thinking they don't know this even in low elo for example, because Korea is very lane-dominant as a server. And I mean, even on EUW, I have a hard time thinking they don't know how to use spacing to threaten the enemy in master and grandmaster?

lol saying zed has it hard against yone is the dumbest thing i have ever heard
@BimBachelord Жыл бұрын
This is misleading. -Zed can poke down the match-up. -he has more zoning potential and AOE should Yone try to last hit -he can all-in Yone when the kill is secure -he can shove as well as Yone, his Burst trade is actually AOE.... -Yone usually tries for lane wins by attrition, zed is an energy user so zed is immune to this -zed can elude Yone all-in -zed has trade agency This feels very NA of a guide...
@JisooMoon-np1ln Жыл бұрын
Not really. - Zed can only meaningfully poke with w, which has a very long cooldown. Even if he does poke and land, a good Yone will then E and then walk you down and kill you in the extended trade with his q, w, and autos while you have no abilities up. Yone E can also be used to dodge Zed W at the same time. Zed Q alone is weak and countered by Yone W, and again if you have no Zed Q, he can E and walk you down because you only have W E + auto which does nothing. On the other hand, every time Zed walks up for a last hit, he gets out-poked by Yone Q and W. Using Zed's abilities to last hit leaves him vulnerable as seen in the video. - He doesn't have more zoning potential. Zed is only a threat with his W up, and if he doesn't outright kill with it, he will die or at least lose the trade in the extended fight once Yone responds with E. Yone has just as much AOE with lower cooldowns and no energy restrictions. - The kill shouldn't be secure if Yone plays properly due to reasons above. Even if you can ult, Yone has outplay potential with his E and R. It is relatively easy to at least Kite out Zed's R until it pops, and if Zed doesn't land everything to kill Yone he is dead. - Zed can't auto to last hit without taking Yone Q and W. To match shove he would need to use his abilities to shove, at which point he will have nothing to trade back with and will be vulnerable with his longer cooldowns and energy limits. - Yone has lower cooldowns, no energy restrictions, and can out-poke and out-trade Zed if played properly. He can also constantly threaten all-ins for free repeatedly with Q3. Yone naturally builds more lifesteal in lane. - Yes Zed can elude Yone all-in, but Yone can repeatedly threaten all-ins for free with Q3. Moreover, Yone can also elude Zed all-in, and in this matchup you are not looking to break even, as he will out-scale you and be more relevant later. - Zed doesn't have trade agency for reasons above.

So basically it’s a “yone favored” matchup cuz wave clear, even tho zed has ok wave clear, beats yone after lvl 3, and can rush Tiamat into ravenous hydra which negates the tempo argument. It’s not a yone favored matchup if you can only kill someone if they blunder to a point they let you win lane at any point before lvl 3.

Yone is a late game hypercarry... Zed is a level 6 spiking assassin... And you want Yone to be killing him early? If it's a tie Yone wins by default due to being the better teamfighter and the better lategame champ.

@@GabrielSantos-hi5xt ? I critiqued a point if I see something wrong, therefore I “know everything”. Oh no, god forbid I call out a bad point when a GUIDE is giving out blatant misinformation lol. Also, you can’t “pretend” you either do or don’t know what you’re saying. What are you even on about at this point?

@@Oznerock you’re so close. It’s like you understand a formula and still get the wrong answer.
