As someone who hasnt played wow. Should I play wow classic before wotlk even though I missed TBC? Should I go straight to wotlk or can I play both consecutively? When I open my game launcher it has wow classic, wotlk and retail. I am not sure how to best get into it.

only in season 1 though. But the meta was ass still lol mana burn was an auto win button and the only counter play was to play a melee cleave that could win before your healer was burned to 0% mana.

I think it's a little bit overhyped in this video and overall by audience. Nevertheless, pvp will be different than retail. Until DF comes out it will be more crowded, but after that a lot of ppl will stop playing wotlk, like it was with vanilla classic and tbc

Yeah with dragonflight right around the corner I can’t see myself playing this long term either unfortunately. Although it will be nice break from the Hpriest/Outlaw rogue spam on retail

I think both will do quite well longterm. Personally ive lost nearly all faith in retail & I love wotlk so i'm maining wotlk; Nevertheless, both will do fine imo - don't think one or the other is overhyped.

I'll play DF on release for sure, but I've lost almost all faith in retail. Blizzard has taken us so far down the rabbit hole I am honestly having trouble seeing how they can fix it. Probably gonna stick to WotLK Classic and hope they come with Wrath+.

I think its people remembering MOP as the most fun and everything was strong so everything kinda felt balanced. That's how I remember it at least. I remember WOTLK as DK and mage whooping my asses all the time lol.

idk man RMP vs cleaves that counter RMP hardly beats MoP as the peak of PvP. But then if DKs come nerfed from launch and they do something about mana burn the season might be pretty fun indeed. I also remember season1 was literally SL PvP for some reason. Like no one even played healers back then there was no point, hope they do something about that as well.

In shadowland in addiction to getting bored every single Arena and matchup played dame way, u have more unbalanced things u get “fucked”. Even tho is easier to get rating in shadowlands than tbc and wrath
