The fact the game has lasted this long with the dirty of explanation or examples is purely bc of the chad and hardcore 2000 that remember every aspect of the game for 20 years. It’s only really accessible to people who want to do 20hrs of homework a week. PvP isn’t accessible or rational to 90% of the player base. No new players spend time unless they are bored with their other angle of the game. It’s so fun to play when you know or remember and can counter. But when you have to learn 120 spells just to live for 20 seconds, doesn’t bring new blood or keep people caring when every 3 weeks they are changing specs, spells, involvement. The way people accept the CONSTANT pruning and altering of so many specs makes no sense to me. Non stop changes. The game can’t just settle and prune re do everything. Stop putting bandaids every expansion.

I returned from Wrath as a high ranked player, using the same mouse design for DF to because it's easier to gear for PVP. AND WTF, I have to actually invest into a 12 side button, and THOSE buttons are also modified. My screen looks like bloated shit, game just doesn't feel as pure as it use to.

Just FYI their money-back guarantee is a sham. I was signed up for their course, my main was a class that they kept saying the guides were "coming soon". I played alts, didn't gain 400 rating from my standard rating, and then, after waiting so long for my class videos, I requested a refund. They said I "didn't meet the requirements" because I had not watched enough videos. (My class videos are still not out yet.) I give them those videos that are of higher quality. Their promises, though, are empty.

To be the devils advocate. If you literally just play the game, you will probably hit the guarantee rating. Combine that with watching their videos, I feel like the real sham is that in reality, everyone who invests time is guaranteed to see a 400 rating climb. Long way of saying, the guarantee is kind of silly because it's pretty hard to miss unless you're not working at it.

Not just rough, unplayable. They now have No MS, no stun go outside of dragon, no mobility, 1 cc being either silence or Asphyx stun. Frost will have literally zero kill windows.

Im a solo and blitz player... this season i close with 3.1k cr and 3.4k mmr... no glad mount, no title, my last reward was a tabard and a back at 2.4k cr like 2 months ago... they need to revamp PvP!!!

If you pop deaths advance with the new frost ability, do you avoid rhe slow penalty? Disc rework seems awful, wish they left it alone. Should just delete the druid class tree, its always the worst. I think that war and rogue pvp talents are going to be insanely strong.

shadowed unit frames has an aura filter of buffs and debuffs and completely customized, you can hide buffs or debuffs only on some scenarios or only on some frames, i couldn't imagine playing the game without that feature since i found it. Since Shadowlands, I have been hiding all the unnecessary buffs and debuffs and placing buffs that I need to track in the party frames for example, it's literally a life changing feature and as i said, it's completely customized the way you want it

Dk is probably one of the best classes in teamfights for larger scale pvp, Hella cleave and simple rotation with alot of aoe cc to spam

Frost DK also has close to 8% variance in DPS even if you play perfectly due to the RNG aspect of whether obliterate hits like a noodle or not, on top of RNG aspect of getting runes back or not from using RP. Performs well in pve, but feels bad imo. But I have been enjoying Rider Shatter in pvp a lot. Very fun. Losing the stun will suck though.

But having an 8% variance in dps even if played perfectly due to rng of the spec feels bad. A spec can be tuned well and still not feel fun or flow. Pvp wise it is okay. Losing the stun in 11.1 will be a big nerf.

Moving to all these proc- and cooldown-based heavy-hitting modifiers is making PvP really unpleasant. It's all "blow a big CD" and then dance around until it comes back online for the next burst window.

More cc is not the solution, neerfing healers and self healing on dps classes is how you make cc feel rewarding. Right now you need a ridiculous cc chain on the entire enemy team to land a kill with all the stupid healing available to every class.

What is the MMR problem you are talking about? I am currently 400+ rating above what I averaged in DF, so, unless you mean to say that they have made it too easy to gain MMR-- I am not aware of any issues (tbh, I think they should make it harder to climb because there are a LOT of noobs at 2400 in Blitz).

MMR has been cooked all season. There’s no consistency across brackets, and until the inflation kicked in Shuffle MMR was pretty low. Blitz MMR has been wildly inflated all season, but they’re still capping CR gains per win so it feels like a massive grind, as opposed to any sort of skill-based system, to get high ratings.

Blitz MMR is fucked, they let it go to like 3.3k max in the first week of it being out, 3s and Shuffle have had rly shit mmr inflation, you couldn’t get 2.4 for the longest time while 2.4 in blitz was like guaranteed if you won even 50% of the time. If you’re 2.4 in blitz you’re fighting your average joe, if you’re 2.4 in 3s you’re fighting the best players in the world, it’s way too desynchronized

I honestly think the only way to save pvp is to remove it from the base game.. make it its own entity like plunderstorm but keep the battle grounds and the arena and the epics all the same when it comes to gameplay. None of this silly battle royal crap. After that they need to come up with a complete rewards system for dedicated pvp players, regarless of them being top 1% of players. Etc. Revamp the honor system. Reward dedicated pvp players for logging in and gaining honor. To be honest the honor reward system completely sucks.
