I saw Skillet in ‘99 my senior (yup, I’m reeaaallllllyyy old, boomer basically) and John, myself, and the youth pastor at the church where they were playing all had crazy hyper energy and really ended up frustrating the senior pastor and the parents of the younger kids. After the concert things may or may not have been broken and John may or may not have suplexed me onto a gaming table and it broke. We just walked away and pretended like nothing happened even though several people witnessed it. I’ve never seen a senior pastor so mad before. It was hilarious and definitely a concert I’ll never forget. John was so hyped.

Thank you Lacey Sturm wherever you are, thanks to you believing in me through your music I’ll graduate soon from ECPI University with an associates degree in cyber technology. I’m a daca recipient and I had to work hard to save money to go to school, 41,000 to be exact and now I’m only two (2) months away from graduation. The road has been hard for me it felt like my country had turned their backs on me upon graduating from Reidsville High School 10 years ago. I was denied education, work, and assistance because I was not born in the USA. However I did not grow up thinking this as I was 2 when my parents brought me to the USA and I’m 29 now. So yeah, thank you Lacey Sturm you have been such an inspiration to me in my life & when I find my lady I would want her to be just like you, however it may not happen since everyone is different & unique in their own way of which I will respect because as you would say love honors your freedom. 1: So awesome that JerroBeast and Lace get accepted so warmly and righteously into the tour. 2: Proof that babies really make the video, how cute is that kiddo and WJM (wait just a moment) did the cooper kids really gain that much XP/grow up already!!!!!!! (back in my day John and Korey were just a wow this girl!, she brings a lot to the Skillet game) [little did we know. (T.I.G.A.(thanks in God always)] 3: Love you guys so much! So thankful for the podcasts/Cooperstuff and really just the blessings you/the band/the production team/etc give us outside of the albums and allow us to enter more of your lives and experiences. beyond the success and failures, far from the once was (super early skillet) to the hints of what can be (Fight the Fury {Seth&John get to let loose!!}, Ledger{Jen - everyone's dream till she gets married breaking out}, Lacey joining up) if I told you back in 2007ish? basically after my college days and the rocky roads and what real life can bring, after a few failures and then finding the "Dogginator" with "Whispers in the dark" and "Rebirth" and being a PanHead ever since. What that music has brought to my life personally is not something replaceable = Just wanting to say again thank you!! So glad to be on this journey with you and to support you and your message/outreach and to be able to enjoy the music that has come up from the wellspring of blending Faith , life's brutal truths, and music all together. 4:Skillet Rocks, Keep on Rocking!!
