Every album they release just rocks. Not every band is like that. Why John don't play bass all the time? When he plays, it sounds so coooooool )))
@borderlinebooksandbipolar59515 жыл бұрын
I asked this on another concert video of theirs. I honestly don't believe he actually plays the bass parts at all- his playing is too inconsistent and it doesn't fit with the sound. My opinion is the bass is either pre-recorded or theres someone back stage playing the bass parts.

Hate to break it to ya but, they use alot of tracks. Including a track for the bass
@bassplayajw5 жыл бұрын
yupsure I know they use a lot of backing tracks, all big bands do. It’s how you get that album sound live. But I’ve heard John say in an interview that his manager and his bass tech will play bass when he’s not so that he can run around on stage and be more of a front man.
@wj2music4 жыл бұрын
@@bassplayajw why not invite the bass tech on stage? or have tate play?

@@bassplayajw Breaking Benjamin don't use back tracks and they sound amazing. I saw them in april at the bryce jordan center and I was front row and he sounded not a bit different from the album.
@shae4822 жыл бұрын
@@bassplayajw they used to have their production manager (Scotty rock) play bass for John. He would actually play on stage with them and interact with the crowd. But nowadays I’m pretty sure any time John doesn’t have a bass in his hands it’s just a track. A lot of times you can see Scotty on the side of the stage just chilling behind the sound board.

@GP-mk5tj5 жыл бұрын
I will say this I was a little mad at the sound crew. It took about three or four songs for them to really start sounding really good. However I did notice that Jennifer's mic was turned down. I also noticed that Seth wasn't warmed up enough on that solo but he got better as the concert went on.
@ffionlowri85695 жыл бұрын
Rob Pezzella I could tell Seth was not warmed up. I though he might be ill or tired because when I’m ill I can’t play guitar because my fingers hurt a lot. You can’t really tell that he wasn’t warmed up or kinda sloppy unless you have listened to the guitar parts very carefully or if your a guitarist. I could tell in whispers that when he was going out of the first part of the guitar solo into the double stop bends that he was a bit slow or was I bit sloppy as I’m working on nailing that guitar solo and I’m almost there I just need to get the transition from that part down. He got better after a couple of songs but If whispers was at the end or was in the middle of the set list he might of been fine although that song is there probably to get Seth warmed up to play songs like not gunna die and the resistance and many more that have wick aws guitar solos.
