I have a friend. Her parents were going to abort her, they were even so firm in their decision that they made it to a clinic. I don't know why, but last minute they changed their minds. I'm glad they did, because she is a such a strong and amazing individual, with her very own thoughts, feelings, and secrets I'll never know. I'm happy that she got to live

I always get so sad over this song... It's so horrible for people to think that's their only option. It makes me hurt, and I'm just a teenager who's never been in that kind of situation! I know they might not have had much else they could do, but abortion should never be an option; they should try adoption or give the baby to someone who can take care of it. I cry when John Cooper sings the lines '"I'll see you, in another life, in heaven, where we never say goodbye!"

What differance in your lives will it make to know if it was the lead singer's, his friend's, his brother's, or someone else he knows??? I just shared my story on FB and decided to post it here as well. ***I've been looking for a sign to share this story. Maybe your post is it. when I was in HS my girlfried was pregnant twice. Of course we aborted and my nightmares started. I had such vivid dreams that I had Killed someone. after asking for forgives my nightmares ended. Edit: the nightmares lasted for about 30 years until I heard Lucy by Skillet and I put 2 and 2 together and realized that they were connected. I prayed, asked for forgiveness and they 100% ended immediately.***

Skillet is an awesome band and GOD uses US all differernt. Their songs have Spoke to my spirit with things I gone through, going through, etc. We all reach the unsaved different. He explains the background about the stories and gives scripture on some. Also, The comment calling JOHN A LIAR saying it's about him and NOT someone else is wrong. Like one man said " IT IS NO ONE'S BUSINESS WHO THE TEENS WERE, PERIOD." I DON'T Believe John would LIE'!!! We ALL know someone that has has an abortion IT'S WRONG AND MURDER. This song shows the guilt. People need to REPENT. This song hits me hard as I had a miscarriage at almost 7 months which is still a loss both ways or losing a live baby. One should have a birthday, funeral, name, etc. To keep their child alive in their heart. Caleb Christopher, I will see you in Heaven. THANK YOU JESUS! THANK YOU SKILLET FOR YOUR AWESOME HEARTS TO REACH SOULS, YOU AND YOUR WIFE AND OTHERS ARE BLESSED. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. LOVE AND PRAYERS!!!!

In my past, a friend if mine was sleeping around with this guy, got pregnant and even though I told her I was against it and showed her all the negatives of it, she got an abortion. I was so upset that she would do something like that but strangely enough, I wasn't mad at her but at God. I remember asking god why on earth would he allow this poor innocent baby to die. I was really doubting myself because I was totally against abortion and I was suffering so much. But I figured out it was my friend'a decision, not god's, for her to get an abortion. I was mad at her for a bit, but ended up forgiving her. But I was still struggling with the fact that a baby was dead and I couldn't do anything to save it, I was 14 at the time and my friend was 15. She had decided to name her baby Faith. I listened to this song and finally understood it's meaning because I was going through something similar; this song was a big part to start the healing process. It's still hard at times, but I'm doing a lot better; though I'm not hanging out worth my friend anymore. As close as we were, she was dragging me down and she didn't want to get help to sort out her life. I feel pity for her, but she brought this upon herself; I just pray that she doesn't continue with her lifestyle before it's too late and that she finally gets help. I don't know if my testimony helped anyone, but please, please don't consider abortion as the way out; it's not. It causes way more problems, there's the guilt of killing your child and the hurt and pain that comes from that. You will have to live with that for a long time. I hope my story has helped someone, I know that God will take my experience and use it to help others.

If you want to be technical, it wasn't alive yet, now if they waited for the baby to be born and then killed it then..
@jill12949 жыл бұрын
+Dylan Metalhead You need to learn about life - technical life...I'm a physician and the baby's heart is beating before you ever even know your pregnant. It's a life...it's a life at conception. A life that's meant to exist.

justfortigger Would it be better off we continue to over-populate areas rather than keep it under constant population control? I don't want to argue, because my goal was to make Allassiel feel better. I'm almost positive the brain isn't developed at this point, so in the end the baby doesn't even feel anything anyway. Everything is perception
