Ben, I Miss you already. I remember taking my daughter to see one of your shows when she was about 10 years old. Maybe I should say she took me. You see, I'm the rock & roll head and since I didn't want to go by myself she came along. It was at the Altoona high school auditorium in Altoona, PA. That night changed my life. That show was years ago and it still has an effect on my everyday life, and hers too. Good luck with your clothing line and your studio. Thanks for all the great memories.

I Saw you guys last Friday at the 2010 Winter Wonder Slam at the Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh! I loved the performance of Monster there and so did my father! Ben, I bought my daughter a guitar and she never picked it up so I decided to try it. We both love Skillet (Monster is her fav, Comatose is mine). Gotta say man, You haven't let me Down since you started in Collide. Amazing riffs keep each record feeling fresh. Love the originality of monster and the simplicity of it as well. @SaturdayNightCustoms It's the fifth string on the first fret. Remember the strings count up from D-A-F-C-G-C. So G String, First Fret. Also, it's a power chord on there so play the G string first fret and the C string third fret as well as the F String third fret. Hope that helps :)

@Gazer794 in standard tuning, but a capo on the fourth fret and just tune the low E string to standard sound with a tuner, but ONLY that string. Then put the capo on the second fret, you'll tune the rest of the strings here, and just tune them baack to standard as well.

@JonLvb I think that's in drop C, 'cause they use capo 3 in some videos on the blue drop B guitar. I think they use that one anyway... See what color guitar he uses, if he uses the blue it's in drop B, if he uses it capo 3 it's in C, if he uses the red it's in D.

What gauge strings do you guys prefer for playing in this dropped tuning? I dropped my kids guitar which has intonations problems at dropped C (mine has a floyd and I did not want to reset, I need a block for it sometime)

@QpangKidz No not at all, just when tuning, do it slowly, don't just turn the tuning heads quickly, otherwise a string (especially the high strings) are likely to snap.

Yeah, I watched Monster live videos a few times just to see Ben playing it and to see if he did bar power chords before finding this. It's especially tricky to see what Ben's doing in drop tunings 'cause he bars with his middle finger. I think I learned it was power chords by seeing Kori play a bit in the end. But yeah, can be tricky sometimes.
