This is a song that's hard for me to hear, but helps remind me of just how far I've come. Today I have 4yrs 6mo clean time from a nasty pain pill addiction. I used to lay in my shower, sick, crying out to God. "Save me or take me, please, I'm so sorry" and He did come for me. This song was one I would play on repeat for hours, sometimes days. It wasn't immediate, because He knew I wasn't ready. But once I hit my knees, admitted my defeat and started to help myself, there He was. He had been there the whole time... I am so thankful to have been saved. I love my God and I love this beautiful song. 💜

I made my first solo trip to south america about a week ago and this song helped me to remember that God cares about therefore He is with me, when i was a teenager i suffered from panic attacks and anxiety, the thought of diying was constantly in my head, so i wanted to be in my house, with my parents all the time, cuz i felt safe however i was getting worse but God helped me and deliver me from that fear, and with this trip I saw the hand of God with me the whole time even when those thoughts wanted to come back He was there reassuring me that everything was gonna be fine and so it did! I've been struggling with my mental health recently, and I just can't seem to control myself, my anxiety has forced me to hide from the real world and forget about everything. But whenever I hear this song, something inside me hits me. I know some people aren't big believers but this song impacts me to continue to look up in front of me and continue to have faith to move on. This fight will not be easy but I believe that God and in the name of Jesus, I will find that light at the end of the tunnel. This band no matter what will be my favorite, been a Skillet fan for countless years and this band has helped me get through my social anxiety with these powerful songs. I encourage everyone whatever battle you are facing, do not give up and lose hope, the world may be sick and so many people are cruel but that does not mean you should continue to be a shadow to everyone that admires you. Everyone that knows you are rooting for you and it would not be the same for them if it wasn't without you. No matter how significant your battle is, I believe you will overcome it and reach the light and get out of your shadows. I was in a similar boat two years ago. I was raised in the church, went every Sunday and youth group on Wednesday. I couldnt find myself believing in a God, especially not in the modern world, not with how life is, not with the church either. God chases us as individuals and Hope's to nurture the relationship as such. I pray he continues to pull at your heart. This was one of the only songs my grandma liked from this band and she really loved it. My grandma had a major stroke in my arms in March of 2019 and died pretty horrifically 4 days after that and I continued playing this song through those last couple days and after she died this song was a God-send with processing the grief through that horrible experience. I still listen to this song when life just feels hard. God is good and I strongly feel music is something that can help us with our walk with the Lord.

I just recently lost my dad. One of my biggest memories with him was going to your guys concert. It was my first and last with my dad. After that night this was our song. No matter where we were going we always listened to this. This was our song and everytime I listen to it, it brings back all of those memories and I wnated to thank you guys for this. We were told by the doctors he was doing good and he would be going home in a couple of day. He was talking to my brother and told him he loved him. 45 minutes later we got a call saying he may not make it and me my brother and sister sat around him and held is hand while he passes away.

Alex Re Actually, Skillet calls themselves a Christian band. I've been to a concert of theirs where they professed that, as well as seen many interviews. There's nothing wrong with listening to music that agrees with your beliefs, especially since a lot of rock and metal doesn't necessarily concur with Scripture. Please allow people to enjoy music that agrees with scriptural principles because it's hard to find, and if that's all people want to listen to, please respect that that's the music they enjoy!

I am not into rock or metal at all, but I absolutely love skillet. They're talent their vocals their instruments they're everything is just spot on. I was cursed with constant almost daily suicidal thoughts since I was a teenager. I was raised as a Christian but I became angry at God over the years and blamed Him. When I reached my lowest point when I wasn't sure I could carry on I reached out to God and asked Him to come back into my life. He healed me of this mental illness and it has been almost 4 years since the last time I wanted to kill myself.

This song makes me cry. I nearly lost my mom to covid 19 about 2 years ago. I prayed to god that i didn't have anyone to go to and i needed him to comfort me and that i felt alone. He was there for me and my mom and my family at that moment in time. So i thank him for all he did to bring my mom back home to me and my family.
