Exmouth skatepark, Devon, 2002 I was 12 years old. Our elder lot were all gifted graff artists by the name ‘BSC’ they were a group of roughly 20 lads and among them were amazing scratch DJs, beatboxers and skateboarders…it was their boom box I was first blessed to hear ‘its us we’re back’ and the Eminem cds I was listening to at the time never sounded the same. That park was great…a 20 strong crew on all 4 benches and it’s a small park! We had friendships, great memories and amazing summers…always to the soundtrack of the latest MFTC volume. Task force were at the top, jehst, skinnyman, klash, yungun were all there, but everyone was always playing taskforce. A genre that shaped me, much insight, many teachings, forever grateful. Much love 🙏

Randomly this came up and I was drawn in .. great interview with one of the most talented producers and the humblest man. Nothing but love for Farma.

Very insightful interview - Farma came over humble and measured. His approach to the Braintax issue is a good example of that. Got his happy place in beat making and does a great job - look forward to that LP with Jehst!

Farms the absolute legend, grew up on his music since the Low Life era anyways, has literally changed my life since then and still to this very day he and Chess remain at the top in my book. Huge discography that doesn't get old and just keeps getting bigger with each release. That new 10£ Bag is on constant repeat. Can't wait for the next installment. Man keeps aging like fine wine, hope you keep doing your thing Farms!

I was thinking whether you knew how popular your music was in the Greater London area cause there was a point where it was played alllll the time. That 05-08 period when mp3s were more available.

And I personally think the Grime scene helped as well and Channel U and all that stuff and it all fed into each other and became this massive thing, but you guys and Jehst especially were getting rinsed.

The difference between WAP and 90s graphic music/lyrics,,,is that those songs in the 90s were underground in the U.K. They weren’t played on radio etc. First Ice T we heard, we had to hide the TDK 90s in Middle School,,it weren’t on radio, kids weren’t dancing/twerkin to it 🤷♂️🤔 That’s how it seems to me anyway 🤷♂️ Edit - I’m commenting as it’s playing,,Farmz is speaking sense /truth 👊 RESPECT. SALUTE 🌟
