Hard to say, we don't know if she's meant to be dps or a support. Either way, I'll be incredibly disappointed if she underperforms in her role considering how strong most v2.x mods are. Also, Nile and some of the older factions could really use better performing mods instead of Tianyuan getting yet another mod for the millionth time. On the other hand, my shifted stars will suffer if she's meta xD

Thanks for the conparison. I wonder how do Buzenbo's and Izanami's best teams compare in a scenario with mobs? Does either team have any gather ability similar to Gengchen's or Luliang's? Mobs are incredibly annoying if AI teammates (especially melee mods) keep knocking them everywhere. That being said, these two teams will probably be reserved for bossing in Chasm for me.

wow i did not take that into consideration, i might have to add a mob test for future comparisons. they dont have any gather but i think buzenbos team would do better in that scenario since they can do pretty good aoe. you are correct the last two floor of chasm is their domain.

Currently I'm actually more concerned with clearing mobs than dealing with the boss since you can use two teams for the boss but only one per mob stage. On a related note, I've also tried Luliang with Thorsiris against a RD boss with mobs and her gather was indeed helpful, but I have yet to test this in Chasm.

How difficult is Chasm 6 for you and what kind of investment is required to be able to reasonably clear it? Full lvl60 sigils and warps I'm guessing?

@@WadeWontson 6-1 and 6-2 can be done with a under leveled team as long as the teams have good gathering capability especially if you have gengchen but its best to save her for 6-3 or 6-4. for those last two floors you'll need next fully invested teams especially if you'll running a free to play team with no functors and two good teams for each boss

@@ikiryoo SkillOp doesn't usually pull for functors, so most of his limited S rank units, including Izanami, are at base S rank+generic 5* functor. He's basically the go-to guy if you want an F2P's perspective on the game. There's another youtuber called Azerty1s or something who does more in-depth comparisons with higher transcend levels and sigs but he doesn't upload those as regularly and not for every mod.

@@ikiryoo I think Mitsuha comes after Yingzhao in global? Then Izanami is right after Mitsuha. What we don't know is when Flame Tyr's patch drops since Yongshi skipped his patch and went straight to v2.0. People are predicting that his patch could be after the current one, or before or after Fire Kagutsuchi's patch.

Unless we get an exclusive support for S Buzenbo, like Mitsuha is for Izanami, then Izanami will still take the crown for top DPS due to Mitsuha's ability to ice shred and the sigils ofc. S Buzenbo is still strong alone.

@@SkillOp well, I tried using Hades, Thor, Jinwu, Lingwang, Buzenbo, Ausar and Tsukiyomi haven't pulled Genchen yet due to the 50/50 pulls and I'm low on shifted stars right now. Those are my strongest ones

@@samngotho9119 ok, i just did it with jinwu, lingguang and gengchen but i can replace gengchen with hades and that should be fine. the key is to focus the mech and forcing the boxer to run up to you, you can imprison them with jin wu and hades can help gather a bit but i'll get to get a video up for you with the characters you mentioned.

So izanami paired with mistuha and hera is comparable to S Buzenbo with Tsukuyomi and kuni/hera? Thats pretty interesting. 1 dps, 1 subdps/support, 1 support vs 2 dps and 1 subdps/support (kuni) or 1 support

Mitsuha is just a very broken support if she wasn't locked to ice teams hera would of loss her 2rd best support spot after she came out, she also have access to 2 ice sigil sets that further shred the enemies ice resistance. as for the dual dps team, its best to set kuni to her dps config as well and just run triple dps but mine isnt fully build which is why i am running blue blue instead of red for the extra armor break. that team is just a glass canon team and it works pretty well, freeing up supports like hera and lingguang for other teams.

You may not be able to get Mitsuha if you lose the 50/50 and have to go full pity. Then you'll need another 90 pulls max for Izanami. I think it will be really hard to get both unless you're really lucky, though you'll have more time to save if flame Tyr's patch drops before those two.

@@MsRafdi If you had to pick, since you have Gengchen already, I guess Ling and Zhiming would be a good choice for synergy, though Zhiming seems to be very dependent on her sig. Izamitsu or Lingguang and Zhiming, you'll be spending potentially the same amount of shifted stars, but you'll have more time to save for the latter two. Personally, if you don't have Jinwu, I'd try getting her from a custom scan banner instead of Zhiming as Jinwu still performs pretty well without her sig and is actually higher than Zhiming on the CN tier list. If you already have Jinwu, then that's great news as you'll have more stars saved for future mods.

@@WadeWontson the problem with izamitsu is, mitsuha banner are still using the old one which is the 70+70 pull, it's easier for izanami since her banner came along with the new version the 90 pull one, and i really don't think i could save much before mitsuha banners worse case scenario i would have to skip mitsuha and just go for izanami, but as strong as her solo dps is, i wouldn't be able to enjoy the game much if i couldn't get her skill chain, different story if global would actually implement the 90 pull on mitsuha, then i probably could afford the izamitsu team, tho only S rank probably cuz my luck is really sucks (played on day 1, never get the achievement for pulling 2 or more s rank/functor on a single multipull, had to pity every fuvking time, and my rate off count are around 60% and that's quite bad)

pretty much, the difference in their personal damage is not that great as the solo test shows, they are pretty even, the determining factor here is pretty much mitsuha. its like you said though, why choose when you can just go with both lolz.
