In 90 degree weather. At the beach. And did I say this is at the beach? But yeah, I will admit - people say she looks like she is my sister and she is in her 70’s.

Sunscreen matters! I'll be 44 this year and still get asked to see my ID. I've been wearing it (mostly) daily since I was 18. Being a male with facial hair and sensitive eyes, I can't even begin to go through all the spf lotions, creams and lotions I've used over the decades. Way back then, they'd burn my eyes, make my face greasy, too heavy, burn, be tinted which I don't want, stick to facial hair or stubble, etc. The problems were endless. That all changed a couple years ago when I discovered Japanese sunscreens. Complete, total game-changer. Light, gel-like sunscreen that glides on my face and is totally undetectable and doesn't make my face greasy or burn my eyes at all or clump onto any facial stubble. Most importantly, they work extremely well protecting my skin from the sun. I've been waiting since the 90's for this, lol.

But I have normal dry skin and like KissMr Mommy UV Aqua Milk for face and Skin Aqua for body but has alcohol so I don't put on face. But I also then put a thin layer of tinted spf over to get the iron oxide. So I'm looking for a dry skin tinted Japanese sunscreen.

Great video. You did a great job going over all of them. :) I just wanted to mention that the gold and the white version of the gel are not the exact same filter wise. The white gel only has Tinosorb S for UVA protection. The gold has a bit better UVA protection because it also has Uvinal A Plus. It’s also marketed as being more water resistant than the white. Skin Aqua (next to Hada Labo) is my favorite sunscreen line!

It is super shiny but I do not mind it and it does eventually die now, It is super moisturizing I still use a moisturizer underneath because the one I have is very light weight, I do have combo oily skin. I got the white one with the gold lid off amazon and its just so good. idk how I was so late to this if I would've found these sunscreens years ago I would have so much less damage to my skin. I can't stand wearing us sunscreens because they burn the crap out of my eyes and ball up and make my face look gross. were truly lacking here. Instead of saying Asian, it’s more appropriate to say Japanese as that’s what these are. Asia is a continent not one country😝 Sadly my favorite Japanese sunscreen was discontinued and I regret not buying more when I was in Japan summer 2019. No white cast, gel water form, and matte. Not a fan of Korean sunscreens tho. I live in Norway, northern Europe Scandinavia. And I have combination oily sensitive skin, and never had any issues with the alcohol, as it depends on the formula and not the ingredient it self... Btw Yesstyle is Korean. Great and informative video🙏🏾 K-beauty has just started to become populat here, and we have so little to choose from in general often due to strict laws and regulations when it comes to ingredients etc. Why many shops online because we can’t get it physically in stores... does the gel form has a satin to matte finish? I don’t like dewy when wearing sunscreen😝

After trying almost all hands down the winner is kanebo allie. Not only the best but so gentle that l wear it as sun protection on my lips and it doesn’t dry, flake or peel. Also no double cleanse with oil to break it up, comes off with any cleanser with one wash.

I have the UV Moisture Milk (blue bottle), I love it so much. I've repurchased so many times. It's absolutely lovely and doesn't aggravate my skin at all, I can even use it around my eyes and it doesn't sting. I also have the gel (pump), it's a little bit too alcohol heavy for my liking; I can't use it around my eyes because it stings, and my neck is too sensitive and dry to use it. But it's a lovely body sun cream

You liked the one I love the most too. The UV super moisture gel is a gorgeous formula. I have Dry skin and this works perfectly over a moisturizer, not on its own for me but on top of a moisturizer....Oh My God. I gave up on my much more expensive Anessa sunscreen. It’s just not as good imo

Yeah....about the “sales” that are always going on on Yesstyle...they’re not really sales. They put the “original price” at almost 3 to 4 times the actual cost as the product, and the sale price as 2 times the actual cost of the product so they can recoup their losses from import, custom etc. and actually make a profit which is understandable. I just don’t like that they have to lie to the consumer to do it, but hey, sales tactics work and I can’t fault them for doing it lmao. The actual cost of those sunscreens on Amazon Japan, from the official Amazon warehouse is only around ¥800, which is around $8 in US currency. So yeah, paying $17 wasn’t really a steal, they just trick us into thinking so by tagging on the extra fees you’d pay to buy in directly from Japan as part of the price.

Just wondering when you use these kinds of sunscreens... do you or can you reapply it over makeup without it ruining your makeup? As they do look like they are on the lighter side versus a thick cream. Also do you know if their protection last any longer or the same compared to standard sunscreens when it comes time to reapply? what about the order of the ingredients? The Skin Aqua gel (white one in the pump) has Tinosorb S as the 12th ingredient and it's the main one that blocks UVA rays (ingredients 1-11 either block UVB or just skincare ingredients). I believe the gold one has UVA blocking ingredient as the 6th one (but it's Uvinul A not Tinosorb). I wish it would just tell you the percentage so you don't have to guess if it has enough of these ingredients to be effective

Honestly these are all oily skin friendly in my book! They all dry down incredibly fast and feel so lightweight on the skin. The essence is probably the least because it’s slightly thicker, but still is a good option!

You do so nice videos and reviews,but i just want to point out something,i don't want to be rude or something,but i noticed when you apply your sunscreen,you don't apply it also on the eyelids,this is not ok, you also must do it there cause is so important to protect your eyelids of sun and i noticed you have different color on your eyelids,just like me,and is crucial to put sunscreen there😊 is just my friendly advice💋 ps: i also love coreean/japanese sunscreen protection and beauty products 💙 YesStyle is my favorite website and they also have an app

I am very allergic to Zinc and break out in hives from it. I usually have the best luck with Asian sunscreens due to this. Im heartbroken that Kraves and Puritos have been found to not me as strong as advertised as I loved both.

Hey just saw your video.. Can you tell me if L'Oréal UV protect aqua essence Sunscreen is better or skin Aqua?? I find skin Aqua has chemical ingredients in it while loreal just has Mineral based.. I'll be waiting for your response.. Kindly help me to find a better one im using loreal but here I don't find it anymore and chemical ingredients don't set on my skin.. And skin Aqua is the one which is quite in my budget
