Skin pigmentation care - by Dr Rashmi Shetty (Kannada)

Yes this one is dedicated to all my Kannada speaking patients and elders in the family and simply because that’s the language I grew up with 😍😍
Pigmentation is simply skin getting darker due to some thing that has irritated the skin and there fore it is reacting.
Now it could be any thing .... sun , food , cosmetic , wring creams , friction , hormones , nutrition sufficiency etc.
What to ...
1. Pls visit your dermatologist
2. Identify what is troubling your skin , avoid it , cut it , treat it.
3. Follow what your dr says religiously day after day.
What not to do
1. Self medicate .. u ll never know if ur well meaning cream has steroids in it
2. Do not scrub it .. no it is not dirt
3. Use harsh home care .. even if it is lemon ‘’ natural”
Does not mean safe always.
