Hi Sam..I read through some of the comments and I don't agree with all the negative hurtful things being said, but also I don't resonate with the other comments that saying everything is fine like old days and nothing to criticize and who doesn't like it can just unsubscribe. Sam, I started watching you during the beginning of the pandemic and you actually helped me feeling less lonely and I was able to see myself in your elegant style and your sophisticated personality. I used to think it's odd to go to my university wearing formal while everyone else wearing almost their sleepwear and nothing wrong with that but after watching you I felt No it's totally fine to be you and dress up when you feel like it. Also, I used to find you very authentic abd genuine sharing your daily morning routine, your favorite books and shows, your night yoga or even just talking about your feelings and your family. You used to show hauls where you can be in style and elegant while not spending a fortune on clothing. I used to see myself in you., but now I feel your priorities have changed tremendously. I hope that you can read the positive feedback comments with open heart and mind and I wish you all the best in your life. Yet I hope I can get old Sam back or at least a version of it doing what you love and what we loved you for. Thank you!

Your videos used to be so knowledgeable and real even to us, non content creators. Now the hauls are all about what they send you, which is fine I understand it is part of your job and I do respect that don't get me wrong. I just miss and wish you really share more valuable things that comes truly from your own experience . You had no idea what the products were in the box and you spend 2 minutes talking about how beautiful the packaging is. I do believe you like the products you are getting from those brand, but I really miss your authentic opinion or the fact that you were so down to earth with every purchase. I used to find your platform not only very enjoyable and different from the rest of other content creators, but very knowledgeable as well. Ps: don't get me wrong Sam , I don't want to sound as I am criticizing you, I respect what you do and obviosity you can create content as you like. This is your channel. I just wanted to point out what I thought and what I wish I would see as a subscriber. You really seems very smart and professional so I hope you don't fall like other creators that share same things, nothing special. ❤

This is how I feel about Holland Cooper. She introduced me to the brand few years ago and just a few months ago I wonder what happened to her buying from the brand. But of course as soon as they started to send her free items that’s when she’s fallen in love with the brand again. Every item she’s shown these last few videos were items from the brand that were gifted, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But back in the day when she bought the items, it was because she genuinely liked the brand.

Hey love, great question! Yes, we do have to pay taxes on anything we are gifted as the government sees these gifts/PR as income (although not actual money). So taxes are to be paid on them😊
