Skinning (Taking Apart) a FurReal Friends Moodwings Baby Dragon Animatronic

It's been a while since I've done an animatronic skinning video! This little guy is going to be customised into a Huggy Wuggy animatronic, and I can't wait to show him to you all when he's done! Here's hoping he turns out well, I've never done something so tall with only two legs. Full customising video coming soon!

Thank you so much!!! It took way longer than I expected and I fully nearly went to bother my neighbours to see if any of them could get that last screw. That’s when I resorted to just cutting part of the wing off 😰

I had to open up one of my furbys (1998 original snowball) and a screw was stipped. I couldn't get it out and had to crack the shell to get to her innards. I'm sorry snowball lol

Yeah they definitely made an interesting choice with this plastic dragon, but it looks like some of their newer toys are back on the right track

Interesting! Is there a particular reason you chose to use this guy over the Furreal monkey? I’m so excited for the process of Huggy!!

Aaa yeah, I went to test the monkey again and she wasn’t working properly. If you turned her off and back on again she’d do like, one noise/movement in the first minute and then nothing. I tried fresh batteries and slightly sandpapering the battery contacts VERY lightly, but nothing worked. I couldn’t find another for sale just yet, but I think this baby dragon will work just as well! (Maybe even better? Who’s to say)

Huggy Wuggy was the original plan, I don’t think we’d even seen Bunzo Bunny when I said I was going to start this. He’s very cute though!
