If he had just ended a relationship maybe that is what he was feeling about his love towards his girlfriend,but it is a bit too obvious to make such a conclusion so I think my line of thought may have nothing to do whit his when hi was writing the song.

The meaning of the song is very upsetting & disturbing. It is about an angel getting her wings ripped off by demons, being tortured in the darkness of hell, as she lets out a cry similar to that of a child close to death, and then as Lucifer slowly drinks out her soul, while she weakly lets out a final "why...?" before she bleeds out to death, and then eaten alive by her demons. No, I hadn't took it off a website or some stuff, nor is it about the aftermath of when any of the members had broken up with their girlfriends. I was trying to give off my own meaning.

Dennis fischer No, you're a bit mistaken. Angels and Demons were once the same, till Lucifer revolted. When he fell God cast all the angels who followed him down with him. They became demons, twisted versions of their once beautiful selves. Lucifer became The Devil, the opposing force to God.
