I like this style cause it sounds quite good, its what i would call, laid back/lazy/minimalist style, but sounds really good when played good like these guys here. It has style, flare, very much like the Fat San Hong Kong style which in Hong Kong is played extremely faster than normal tempo. These young guys are great percussionists.

this style is called Jow Ga or old school vietnamese lion dance drumming because the gong is made out of steel so its really cool

Nice traditional drumming...Keep it real and keep it coming! Hard to find traditional drumming nowadays. Our Hung Gar drumming is real traditional and I aim to post a video of our Sifu one day.

hey nice beat i can finally get a new set of beats into my arsenal lol. Been lookin for a traditional beat like this for a long time. I remember in vietnam they play this style all the time. Im self taught by the way ill post up a vid of my very own set lol. Its probably newbish. But after this clip i might up my status in liondancing. Nice stuff. Only if i had a teacher to teach me. post up some lion footage too. love the beat!

(Yun Yee Tong) Đây là bài trống truyền thống Phật Sơn "Phá Kủa" 《花鼓》của người Hoa Kiều sáng chế rồi phổ biến ra tại Sài Gòn trước giải phóng 1975 và sau cho tới nay. Của HONG KONG cũng là "Phá Kủa" Phật Sơn truyền thống nhưng khác của VN Hoa Kiều mình . Và ko chỉ Nhơn Nghĩa mới có bài trống này các đoàn lân khác đều có như : Liên Nghĩa, Liên Thắng, Liên Hữu, Quần Anh, Hiệp Anh, Nguyệt Anh, Quần Thắng, Thắng Nghĩa, Tinh Nghĩa, Tinh Anh, Hùng Dũng,........ .
