the way you defined the characters in one word was beautiful. it really showed skins viewers how this generation really opened up, how we got to learn them. the way you showed their past season 3 selves and then showed us their season 4 selves was brilliant. they all grew up and matured so much in season 4. god, this video is perfect. second time watching.

Perfect! Love this generation and I completely love this song. I love the fact that you combine the lyrics with the scenes. Like at 3:10 for example "Shows that we ain't gonna stand shit... Shows that we are united". That melted my heart. Seing the gang together... United ;)

This was the gen that I fell in love and always come back to. Somehow these characters really touched me. This was such a great video that really portrayed the gen. So sad as well. I never realized how much I liked Freddie until he was gone :(

I don't know what it was about this generation, it really pulled on my heartstrings and the acting was so believable, it was as if I was a character myself and I felt everything they were feeling! Definitely my favourite ever Show and season of the show! It really captured the urban teenage way of society in Britain, in my opinion...

So who's heard the news? Series 7 is coming out in Spring 2013 and will be seeing the return of Effy, Cook and Cassie with 3 separate episodes for each. Naomi and Emily will also be guest starring in one of the episodes but will not actually have their own one.

Season 1 and 2 were the first generation of Skins as they were the first cast members. Season 3 and 4 (This montage) were the second generation. Basically, each different set of cast members are a new generation.

This video perfect, really shows the contrast between S3 & S4 and I didn't realise until watching this just how sad S4 really is. At the start of S3 everyone is pretty happy (or at least on the surface) but as time goes on they all just break and it's heart wrenching to watch :(

I was about 17 I guess when I first started watching skins and that was when gen 2 was on. I agree that age and the gen you start with plays a role. I do still really love gen 1 as well, but since I started with gen 2 it always has a special place for me. Plus a couple characters in gen 2 related more to my personal situation than the ones in gen 1.
